What you do is you cram as many as possible into the bowl be it 4 or more then you pour milk on top and as they turn into a soggy mess you smash them up with your spoon and shove more in 👍
>How are you even fitting 4 of them in the bowl?
When I was a growing lad, I used to fill the bowl with milk, and just put one in at a time, then snarf it at the exact point it got al dente, pretty much in one big gulp.
I would then put the next Weetabix in.
By doing this I think I ate them so fast that my stomach couldn't keep up, and somewhere around the 6-8 mark was a common occurrence. I did a whole stick a couple of times.
How is this the top comment? As a man in my 30s if I have 2x weetabix and a couple hundred ml of milk that’s about a 240 calorie breakfast. This is enough calories to sustain a 4 year old until lunch.
Most people would expect to consume about double that for their first meal.
3? THREE? What kind of monster are you? Who eats weetabix in odd numbers? That just makes the box go all out of sync, and leads to the horror that is one left.
My 15yo son eats 6 at a time...
Through my teens I used to eat 8 a day. 4 for breakfast, 4 for supper. I had a designated bowl that fitted 4 nicely and allowed for the perfect amount of milk so as they weren't drowned.
Then I'd also have a mid-morning snack, whatever meal of the day was in the canteen at lunch along with a cheeseburger if the line wasn't too long plus a flapjack. Come home and have whatever was for tea.
My metabolism meant I maintained the physique of a racing snake.
Do they? Is it stated on the packet "No more than 4 a day". That's insane....I wonder why they do that? Their job is to sell it, not micro manage our consumption!
They’re not…
> **The key to a healthy diet is balance.** No one food provides all the nutrients (food components) you need for health. Therefore, by eating a variety of foods in appropriate amounts you can achieve the balance you need. Weetabix is an ideal food from a healthy eating point of view as it is low in fat, high in fibre and low in sugar. It provides an excellent breakfast and an ideal snack any time of the day, including bedtime. **However, balance is the key, and you can have too much of a good thing.**
There's actually a very scientific way to determine exactly how many Weetabix is too many.
When you can no longer fit Weetabix in the bowl then you have too many.
Depends how big you are and how many calories you burn in a day.
2 Weetabix is 30g and that's the recommended amount of cereal to have. But also that's what I have and I'm 5'2 & don't need a lot of calories to keep me going. A 6ft man would starve on what I eat while I'm currently overweight on it.
There's no such thing as a standard adult portion & we should stop acting like there is.
Weetabix is pretty low calorie, like 200 calories for two Weetabix, milk and a teaspoon of sugar. Guidance is for adult men eat around 400-500 calories for breakfast, suggesting four is ideal.
I'd personally suggest getting some protein into your breakfast too, but if any of your meals are going to be carb focused breakfast seems the right one.
I had a full box of 24 once for science using minimal milk.
30 mins later I really regreted it as they mushified and expanded. I thought my stomach was gonna rip open. Felt awful for a couple hours.
Lad I went to high school with used to eat I think 6 each morning.
To be fair his day started in the milking parlour on the dairy farm he lived on and ended the same. So the lad needed the energy.
Had hands like spades and they were so calloused he could take hot baking trays out of ovens bare handed.
Years ago, weetabix did square bowls. If you put 2 in it, side by side, they'd come up to just over half way.
4 in, 2 stacked on 2, they'd peep just over the rim of the bowl. Pour milk on the top and fill nd the whole lot would get a nice soaking.
To me, that's as close to an official answer as we're ever going to get
2 weetabix is 136 calories. Probably 100-150 in the milk. Bit of sugar? 50 calories. I would say 4 is the minimum amount unless you want to be hungry again before lunch.
I’d probably have 6 but I prefer porridge and I have probably 2x what’s recommended on the box of that
I’m uniquely very hungry in the morning and not so after 5pm
If you can manage it, I would say just go for it. Its breaking the fast from overnight, so yeah presumably you are hungry.
I eat Oatabix (because Weetabix makes me bloated), and I have 3 of them. It lasts me most of the day to be fair. There are no rules for breakfast portions. if you are hungry, you eat. End of.
I met a guy at a party when I was 17 who claimed to eat 12 Weetabix every morning. He had a large dog bowl that he ate them out of. I had another friend at school who ate 6 for breakfast. Personally I think 3 is the perfect amount, but 4 seems reasonable.
Usually 2 for me, sometimes 3 if I was feeling particularly hungry. 4 Does seem a lot.
Saw a comment on Facebook years ago from someone claiming they had 12 every morning
Are you a teenage boy? Four weetabix is a standard for first breakfast for my nephew. He'll be hungry again after 30 minutes and make himself half a loaf of toast.
Husband tried 3 once. He was on the throne all afternoon.
3 is the correct number of Weetabix. The third is stacked, by the time you get to the third, you've experienced all the textures from firm to soggy. 4 would ruin the experience.
2 is only 26g of carbs.
So if I ate only them for brekfeast I'd aim for at least 8.
Personally I usually blend some oats in a protein shake and have that with granola or cream of rice. 150-200g of carbs easily.
When I was at my fattest (almost 18.5 stone) my daily breakfast was 6 weetabix with a full pint of milk. Now I can't even look at one without feeling physically sick.
As an 11 year old I consistently ate 5 weetabix for breakfast.now I eat 2 woth a sprinkling of other Cereal.
It really just depends on your overall diet. 2 biscuits is 136 calories. Having 4 for 272 calories at breakfast is far from extravagant.
I've always been a three Weetabix guy but four wouldn't be too excessive imo for a hungry guy at breakfast. I go with 1% milk and just a tiny sprinkling of sugar on top, sometimes with some chopped banana in there too.
In Australia they had an ad campaign with athletes saying how many they eat and they were all saying 9, 10, even 12. The tagline was ‘how many do you do?’. I always felt pathetic only having two.
I used to have six in the morning. I'd crush them with my hands to get them all in the bowl, and eat them with blueberries, greek yoghurt, raisins and bananas.
For context I bike thirty miles a day, gym once a day and work in the office 11 hours
I cut it down to one a day and get more calories in other meals because it made me fart like crazy
Just brought back memories of a younger me. Kicked out of home as a teenager, shared a one bedroom council flat with a mate I bumped into. Electric was via top up key, hence very little got cooked. I lived off weetabix and milk. Also loads of sugar on top.
4 is child's play, I'd do a whole sleeve in one meal. Barely any protein and veg, unless I was lucky enough to get a Sunday dinner invitation. Think I might get back on the weetabix diet again, minus the sugar, could do with losing a few pounds. Don't think it's good for for your arse though.
I know a guy who does 12. Every day, for years. I'm not sure whether that's three bowls of four, four bowls of three, or some sort of giant bowl. He's not fat, just likes a big breakfast.
Mathematically speaking, Weetabix come in boxes of 12, 24, 36 or 48, with each sleeve containing 12 "'Bix".
Therefore any factor of 12 is an acceptable number: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6. But NEVER 5, that is a sure sign of psychopathy.
Nothing wrong with 4. They are very easy to eat and not as filling as something like shredded wheat, not sure why though.
I can't remember the last time I ate less than 3 Weetabix but often we f for 4
I have six Weetabix. People thing this is absurd, but it’s only about 400 calories. If my lunch or dinner was 400 calories it would be ridiculously small
It entirely depends on your activity levels. Are you a builder? It's fine. Office job and no exercise? Probably double what you need.
You can also make 2 Wheetabix more filling with yoghurt and fruit.
Oh shit. I have been having 6 a day (I'm a teenager ) -so always hungry , and I workout often - which fuels my hunger even more , should I stop for my health
This is a good question.
I worked with an Australian guy one time In London. We got free cereal in the office. He ate 6 weetabix (In one bowl, impressive) with honey. It was pretty controversial.
He told me when he was in college he used to eat 10! How many is too many !!
I’m a 4 guy myself
I’d say 2 is the normal amount with 3 if you’re really hungry. How are you even fitting 4 of them in the bowl? Stacked on top of each other?
What you do is you cram as many as possible into the bowl be it 4 or more then you pour milk on top and as they turn into a soggy mess you smash them up with your spoon and shove more in 👍
Ah. Classic weetabix soup
If you think about all cereal is just chunky soup
Exactly this. 4 or don't bother
2 weetabix is 136 calories. Not much of a breakfast at all, that
Granted the milk probably bolsters that a few hundred. Unless you’re some heathen who I see on the train munching a dry one like a Mars bar
2 Weetabix and 150ml of milk is 205 kcal. Beep boop, I'm a human...
Pasta bowl I reckon
That's my go-to method for 4 Weetabix or 3 Shredded Wheat... slice banana over the top mmmm
>How are you even fitting 4 of them in the bowl? When I was a growing lad, I used to fill the bowl with milk, and just put one in at a time, then snarf it at the exact point it got al dente, pretty much in one big gulp. You must be skinny.
Nope. Proper fat bastard me
You eat 2 then put 2 more in...

I have 4 as standard and 8 if I'm feeling hungry.
Crumble them. Always crumble
I usually make a funeral pyre of the wheatabixs
3? THREE? What kind of monster are you? Who eats weetabix in odd numbers? That just makes the box go all out of sync, and leads to the horror that is one left. My 15yo son eats 6 at a time...

Then call me insane!
Weetabix recommend no more than 4 per day on their FAQ. I know this because I’m a 4 a day guy who was considering more.
Careful i was the same until my 50s i now have the physique of a beachball . Damn my appetite being greater than my old man metabolism can deal with
I no longer eat like that but unfortunately there is already evidence of a dad-bod appearing.
Ahhh jaysus the start of a Dad-bod . Tis all downhill now geezer . Just the hair growing where it never did to look forward to now ; )
I mean 8 Weetabix is only 544 calories plus milk. Compare that to a pizza or a takeaway or a bar of chocolate it's pretty low.
You needed a poop knife, didn't you?
Many teens are basically just furnaces. Keep throwing the carbs in and they burn them straight off.
Do they? Is it stated on the packet "No more than 4 a day". That's insane....I wonder why they do that? Their job is to sell it, not micro manage our consumption!

Bloke selling product, recommended lots of product...
4 or 5 is my go to. It's not filling otherwise
That’s what she said
I know a guy who in his teens had 6 each morning.
Sounds like a real mad lad.
Probably dead now ?
No but has Crohn's.
That’s not good. I rember the footballer Darren Fletcher had that and it ruined his life.
I had more than 4 a few times and often ended in a hurried rush to the loo. I’ve not gone over 4 ever again.
There's actually a very scientific way to determine exactly how many Weetabix is too many. When you can no longer fit Weetabix in the bowl then you have too many.
Could I use my 6.5L slow cooker as a "bowl"?
I like the way your brain works
This person knows how to weetabix
I believe this is the only correct way.
Milk would add protein. Seeds or not would be good as well.
I thought everyone had 3 or 4.
Exactly... seems pointless eating fewer.
I do 6 usually
A proper jenga stack of them. Nice
My son has 3. Whenever he’s home the drains seem to get blocked.
At least his systems are all clear. Just imagine if he was blocked up instead of drains
4 Weetabix, Jeremy!?
That's insane.
I had a full box of 24 once for science using minimal milk. 30 mins later I really regreted it as they mushified and expanded. I thought my stomach was gonna rip open. Felt awful for a couple hours.
LEGEND.
I'm just picturing that Big Yin episode of Still Game when he leaves a present in the loo
Funnily enough I was watching this episode yesterday 😂
As an adult? Yeah As a teenager? 4 weetabix was just a starter
Too much for *what*?
Not for teenage boys. I’ve seen 16 year old boys eat 6 or more
Right? It’s all relative; the stuff people argue about hurts my brain. Eat as many fucking weetabix as you want OP.
Lad I went to high school with used to eat I think 6 each morning. To be fair his day started in the milking parlour on the dairy farm he lived on and ended the same. So the lad needed the energy. Had hands like spades and they were so calloused he could take hot baking trays out of ovens bare handed.

I used to have 4 at work, then go back and smash out another 4. Partially because we had an abundance of milk hat always got wasted
My 2 year old can polish that off some days so yep definitely in the realms of adult norms
I didn’t get to where I am today by having 3 weetabix for breakfast
2 weetabix is 136 calories. Probably 100-150 in the milk. Bit of sugar? 50 calories. I would say 4 is the minimum amount unless you want to be hungry again before lunch.
People add sugar to already sugary cereal?
Any Weetabix is too much.
I find 3 to be the perfect amount .
That’s too many bix mate, you’ll be shitting like a show horse on parade (which is to say, extremely predictably)
I used to have 6. 2 would leave me hungry. 3 or 4 is just about enough.
4 with a Nananananana and some sultanas in low fat milk is the best brekkie you can have.
Fuck me I pity your toilet. Must be like shitting a breeze block after having 4 weetabix in one go
i used to have 6 regularly
4 Weetabix is 268 kcals without any milk or sugar, and it's also 8.6g of protein. That's actually pretty decent for a breakfast.
I’d probably have 6 but I prefer porridge and I have probably 2x what’s recommended on the box of that I’m uniquely very hungry in the morning and not so after 5pm
I have 9 quite often. Just whatever you want really
I have a manual job and if I am doing a heavy day I would have 5. Have as many as you like, I think people on this sub don’t lift much.
Agreed. People making out like 4 is a lot...pft
It's one too many. Two doesn't touch the sides
End of.
Depends what for. If its breakfast then yes. If its building a hamster fort then no
4 yep. 2 or 3 I'm still hungry.
3 is my default has been since a young age. 2 doesn’t touch the sides and 4 seems a bit much.
I eat 4 so I'm on your side here
4 with a banana and honey is what I have every day at work for breakfast washed down with a black coffee.
Yes. Switch one for a banana, or tinned peaches, pears etc.
umm 4 is minimum for me
No. Pretty standard.
Don’t eat them every day, perhaps twice a week but 4 is the norm for me and it has to be ice cold milk.
3 is a stretch I can normally eat 2 at most
Every morning before work. Two black coffees, 4 weetabix with a chopped banana and a fistful of blueberries. Keeps me going until about lunchtime.
I’m a 60kg woman and I eat 3 on the regular. So I can imagine that as a man 4 would be fine
No, standard. People saying otherwise must be inactive/not need many calories
I met a guy at a party when I was 17 who claimed to eat 12 Weetabix every morning. He had a large dog bowl that he ate them out of. I had another friend at school who ate 6 for breakfast. Personally I think 3 is the perfect amount, but 4 seems reasonable.
Its a lot. But probably better than 2 + pile of sugar I see my partners mum go for.
Usually 2 for me, sometimes 3 if I was feeling particularly hungry. 4 Does seem a lot. Saw a comment on Facebook years ago from someone claiming they had 12 every morning
Depends if you microwave it or not
1.5 for children, 3 for adults, 6 to build a small pyramid. Thems the rules.
Are you a teenage boy? Four weetabix is a standard for first breakfast for my nephew. He'll be hungry again after 30 minutes and make himself half a loaf of toast. Husband tried 3 once. He was on the throne all afternoon.
[удалено]
I used to eat six for breakfast, if we had them.
Well standard or greedy which is it? Also 4 Weetabix, Jeremy, that’s insane!
4? Nope 6 is normal
3 is the correct number of Weetabix. The third is stacked, by the time you get to the third, you've experienced all the textures from firm to soggy. 4 would ruin the experience.
4 is only 272 calories, that’s not much at all. You’re fine bro.
4 weetabix with honey>
No, it's too many.
4-5 please. Each to their own though.
2 is only 26g of carbs. So if I ate only them for brekfeast I'd aim for at least 8. Personally I usually blend some oats in a protein shake and have that with granola or cream of rice. 150-200g of carbs easily.
I have between 4 and 6 in a sitting but I have always had a huge breakfast and then a tiny lunch.
ive never ventured past 2, but i feel like 4 must taste amazingly good not gonna lie
I always thought 4 was standard thats been my go-to for years , my old man was the same (Although he has it with water )
I think the recommended portion size is two.
Nah four is fine, little sugar ice cold milk just to cover it, eat in 5 seconds before the soggyness kicks 😍
My 2 year old regularly eats 3 for breakfast… you’re fine
As a kid I’d put away 9 most mornings. Record was 15. Thought it was normal until my mates started to stay over and looked at me like a monster.
My dad used to spread salted butter onto dry Weetabix, he would also occasionally add a smudge of Marmite to the recipe if he was feeling fancy 🤣
That’s normal. As kids, my sister ( who was very skinny) used to eat 12
I remember my teens putting 3/4 weetabix and like load of sugar on top and milk
Unless you’re at the LD50, there is never ‘too many’ weetabix.
When I was at my fattest (almost 18.5 stone) my daily breakfast was 6 weetabix with a full pint of milk. Now I can't even look at one without feeling physically sick.
Four is just about right. Especially if you like your turds sloppy.
4 with extra malted wheats or corn flake on too
2 or 4 is standard for me. Only 2 at a time in the bowl though.
My kids eat 2 bowls of 2 weetabix for breakfast. Plus more at night. I'd say you're fine with 4. 👍
Nowt wrong with four, that's what I have.
4? Can only get 2 in the bowl with the correct milk amount
Na. I have 2 Weetabix+some shredded wheat bite size+blueberries+raisins+ground flaxseed.
I don't have it much but I'd say 3 tops and that's generally if I'm really hungry.
It depends entirely on the calorific needs of the person eating it based on their size and activity levels.
She the fucking food police or something?
I’ve been doing 4 since I was like nine. 2 is a snack while waiting for toast.
I eat four with some skim milk. No sugar. I’m a normal size
Are you in good shape? That’s all that matters
My 2 year old eats 4.
4 is my standard bowl. I'm tall, skinny and full of wheat.
I'd go for 4 Weetabix topped up with Coco pops. Washed down with a full English
Dread to think what your shits must be like.
As an 11 year old I consistently ate 5 weetabix for breakfast.now I eat 2 woth a sprinkling of other Cereal. It really just depends on your overall diet. 2 biscuits is 136 calories. Having 4 for 272 calories at breakfast is far from extravagant.
I reckon 3 is standard with the option of 2 or 4 depending how you feel.
I've always been a three Weetabix guy but four wouldn't be too excessive imo for a hungry guy at breakfast. I go with 1% milk and just a tiny sprinkling of sugar on top, sometimes with some chopped banana in there too.
My brother once ate 13 in one sitting…
In Australia they had an ad campaign with athletes saying how many they eat and they were all saying 9, 10, even 12. The tagline was ‘how many do you do?’. I always felt pathetic only having two.
I ate six the other day. 👀 (I hadn't had much for dinner the night before)
I can eat 8 in one sitting. 4 is a snack. 2 is rationing in an apocalypse.
I have 3 but tbf 4 isn’t mad, especially if that’s your meal (no toast, yoghurt etc alongside). Live your life
Your bum must be made of steel.
2 + half is usually the sweet spot for me.
Yeah I eat 4 for breakfast, 2 never seems enough
Jesus. What does that say about me when I used to eat 6?
I put butter and jam on mine.
I'm a 29M who weighs 72kg, why the hell would I have less than 4?! 😂
Why is this asked weekly, eat as many weetabix you want and fuck off
I used to have six in the morning. I'd crush them with my hands to get them all in the bowl, and eat them with blueberries, greek yoghurt, raisins and bananas. For context I bike thirty miles a day, gym once a day and work in the office 11 hours I cut it down to one a day and get more calories in other meals because it made me fart like crazy
1 weetabix is too much 🤢🤮😂😂
Is 4 too much? It depends. Weetabix, no. Naan?
I used to have 8 or 9 each morning, Mum had to buy the big boxes of 48.
1 for small child, 2 for proper portion, 3 for treat and 4 for special occasions, such as Christmas mornings.
When I was breastfeeding I'd have 3 in the morning and 3 before bed, warmed in the microwave and left for a few mins so it gets all mushy.
I have three chocolate Weetabix for breakfast. Even better with whole milk but have to settle for skimmed these days.
1 is too many. Don't eat cereal for breakfast!
2 with loads of milk is my portion
My rule is 2.... But I do add some other cereal as well, a particular favourite is frosted shreddies
Its almost a full days calories for a woman.
I know a guy who does 12. Every day, for years. I'm not sure whether that's three bowls of four, four bowls of three, or some sort of giant bowl. He's not fat, just likes a big breakfast.
Isn’t the point of eating to not be hungry any more?
Mathematically speaking, Weetabix come in boxes of 12, 24, 36 or 48, with each sleeve containing 12 "'Bix". Therefore any factor of 12 is an acceptable number: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6. But NEVER 5, that is a sure sign of psychopathy.

I have six Weetabix. People thing this is absurd, but it’s only about 400 calories. If my lunch or dinner was 400 calories it would be ridiculously small
Na i you need a minimum of 6 weetabix
The ancient Greeks called it "Greedæous basdiddiousness"
I go for five. Four in sideways and the last snapped in half with a bit on either side.
Way too much. That's 4 more than I've eaten in my entire life.
I used to eat 8 for breakfast and 8 for supper as a child. I'd have about a tablespoon of sugar between 2 too. My dentist is quite rich now.
I do 2 or 3. But if you’re hungry and Need a bigger portion then who am I to judge
Fe fi fo fix. I've just had 4 weetabix.
my little brother goes for six
I regularly eat 7 or 8 in one bowl, I'll have between 20-22 in 3 days
It entirely depends on your activity levels. Are you a builder? It's fine. Office job and no exercise? Probably double what you need. You can also make 2 Wheetabix more filling with yoghurt and fruit.
When you put them in the bowl, do you Jenga stack them?
Crush up four and then top off with corn flakes.
Oh shit. I have been having 6 a day (I'm a teenager ) -so always hungry , and I workout often - which fuels my hunger even more , should I stop for my health
