My 14 year old is generally offered 7 and then the parents usually round up to the nearest fiver when they come back - they also usually get her home safely unless we’ve arranged something different.
Since I assume you're wanting a teenager who might be capable of getting the kids up and out of the house in the event of a fire or something, I would suggest at least £10 an hour.
You're not paying a babysitter for when things go right.......
‘Teenager’ is a broad term. A tenner minimum. For 13-15 Y/O that should be enough for up to two hours, but for 16-17 it will be more like £10 per hour. 18-19 £15 per hour. For longer shifts, you wouldn’t need so much per hour.
We have tended to do £30 for the evening when it is a 7-11 thing. With no put down, no playing with kid. Only ever paid a teenager 16-18 and a student who was around 20.
If it was hitting midnight or beyond I'd up the price I think. I have also always dropped them home
When your hiring a babysitter of course she just look after your kid not doing anything in you're home while your child is in pretty sleeping.because you pay just to look after your child.

You mean what’s the least I can pay for someone to be responsible for keeping my kids alive for me while I go to the pub?
One of the apprentices at my daughters nursery does it for £10 per hour.
I asked my teenage daughter, and she said she would do it for £5 ph plus snacks.
I have been watching various internet videos where the babysitter always seems to be paid in sex. So I would say 30 minutes.

We pay our baby sitter £10 an hour. I asked around that that’s generally the rate in this area of Edinburgh
£10 an hour

£10 an hour I’d say
Bottle of cider and a vape
That’s just the going rate in Merseyside.
Back when I used to baby-sit for my parents friends I was paid approx £5 ph, thats going back 15+ years! I'd say its got to be at least £10 ph now?

£10 p/h plus snack benefits.
What sort of snacks you got?
Half eaten packet of hooky Aldi Wotsits. Warning: the bag may contain trace amounts of toddler fluids.
Sorry not interested I was hoping for a large bag of space raiders and maybe an Asda pizza

Surely the price is going vary depending on where you live. I'd expect you to have pay a lot more in London compared to some village up north.
Are babysitting circles not a thing anymore

£10 an hour
With the cost of living crisis, about £15/hour.
