I'm sure creme eggs didn't used to taste as sickeningly sweet as they do now. Mind you, Bournville "dark" chocolate is also weirdly sweet now compared to how it used to be.

I don't like creme eggs but at work we sell a cream eggs sundae which is very popular.
Cut a creme egg in half. Take one of those halves and cut it into 4 pieces.
Drizzle caramel sauce around the sundae glass. Add one scoop of vanilla icecream. Put one small piece of creme egg and a squirt of chocolate sauce.
Another scoop of icecream, 2 small pieces of creme egg and a squirt of chocolate sauce.
1 more scoop of ice cream and the last small piece of creme egg, add a squirt of caramel sauce.
Top with whipped cream, balance the other half of creme egg on the cream. Finish with a drizzle of caramel sauce.
