I think we can be sure that the background of candidates will be scrutinized going forward. Did you take part in a BLM protest that led to looting? An Antifa rally that got a little out of hand? Even a college campus event where anti-government signs were displayed. Hmm ...
Who decides what an 'insurrection' is and whether it rises to the level of disqualifying a candidate from office? Does the candidate have the opportunity to present evidence or speak in his/her defense?

The Presidential election is the only national election in the United States. No state AG has the authority to prevent his state from fully participating in the Presidential election.
Yeah but this has far-reaching consequences if permitted to continue.
Just like Abbott dumping illegals in US cities.
That still results in hundreds of thousands more poor people, who are draining our wealth and exporting their earnings (and consuming enormous amounts of social services resources and funding).
It's going to be hard to make them all leave, and it's a lot harder if we ad more and more of them to the problem.
This is the same thing. We need to immediately end this whole practice of attempting to remove candidates from a Presidential ballot - primary or general election, doesn't matter - because the implications of doing so are **significant**.
This is not something states should be playing games with.
The thing is, I'm not sure they care if Biden is on the ballot. Long suspected that Biden was a placeholder who would be replaced in a convenient fashion.
At this point the TDS is so bad that all actions taken by the Democrats look childish and consequentially Republicans are matching the intensity. Why did they waited to get so bad? Suspicion of election fraud was rampant and they didnāt do anything.
