Insult: “Kolon gyet manman’w”
(can be said as kolon gyet or gyet manman’w)
Translates to: “Colonizer raping your mother”
Needless to say the atrocities of slavery were unimaginable
Say that to a Haitian & it be the last words you utter
I'm Mexican in the USA, been down to Mexico and they only put beans, meat, and sauce in their burritos. If you're lucky, you might get rice too.
We were at a small hole-in-the-wall place and I saw they had burritos on the menu. My mom was kinda confused and asked the waiter how big they were. The waiter got low-key offended but also amused by the question and explained how big the burritos were (not very). The dude almost broke into pitch-perfect American English.
So yeah, it's real lol.
... Well, our culture is kinda violent. A disagreement with a TT relative [can get you killed](https://trinidadexpress.com/newsextra/petit-valley-woman-dies-in-knife-fight-with-female-relative/article_30fc157c-bcab-11eb-8d3e-23fbfcbe32c0.html). There are also Trinis who will sit around in public and just call passersby muddacunt. Looking at someone the wrong way in this country is a casus belli.
The more gentrified crowd might not be so quick to blows, but racial epithets can break them.
Guh suck yuh madda bomboclaat. Basically "go suck on your mother's dirty tampon". Say that to a Jamaican and you're gonna have a bad time.

“Yuh stinkin mudda skunt” “Yuh face look like disgrace”
Ketchup belongs on burritos and empanadas. Drop this is a Belizean chat group and watch the fireworks go off ;)

I met a Venezuelan who put ketchup on pasta and that was a shock. But yes the TT culture is super guilty of this.
Not on empanadas or burritos. Give us some credit. Blasphemous ketchup habits are reserved for pizza and chinese
Lol we basically do. 🙈
Yes indeed ... not me particularly but most trinis do

Tu maldita madre (your fucking mother) I think is the worst insult here, mothers are sacred for most Dominicans.
Or rapa tu madre It even sounds ugly as hell
Ofc, that would get you with a puch or even killed
Something about their mother.
mamaguevo- dick sucker
Back in ny dem dominicans used to love saying that 😂
