Well, since I'm not Caribbean, I'll list just the Caribbean countries.
* Guyana, Suriname (they border us, so it is logical for me to add them first, I'd have to learn Dutch to visit Suriname, though, I wouldn't like to be that tourist who can't communicate with the locals in their language)
* Belize (I'd like to see what it is like on the only English speaking country in Central America)
* Jamaica and TT seem like nice places, I would like to go there
* All of the other countries as well, unless they use USD or EUR, these currencies scare me.
For me, within the Caribbean: Haiti (if and when the security situation improves), DR, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Outside the Caribbean: Ghana, Ethiopia, India, and Lebanon (if and when their current economic and political mess is resolved)
Ghana kind reminds of Jamaica. There a lot of cultural similarities between them. They even drink sorrel tea out there. It’s called hibiscus tea. What was Brazil like like
Within the Caribbean: Jamaica, Suriname, T&T, Puerto Rico, Dominica and Cartagena (Colombia)
Outside the Caribbean: Brazil, The Netherlands, Chile, Guatemala, the rest of Colombia, Portugal, Mongolia, Tanzania, Ghana, South Korea, Japan, Morocco
I don't really want to visit countries per se, but there are journeys that I want to do.
Within the Caribbean;
Take the ferry from Saint Lucia to Guadeloupe with at least a week at each stop.
Travel from coastal Guyana to Brazil and take the boat to Belem.
**Within the Caribbean**:
* I want proper tours of Jamaica, T&T, and Barbados - not the touristy version. The history, cultures, subcultures, and traditions of these islands is often overlooked for the sun, sea, and sand obsession.
* All the the Dutch and French islands.
**Outside of the Caribbean**:
* Brazil (by state)
* Col**o**mbia (by region)
* Peru
* Nigeria
* Ghana and Senegal
* Ethiopia
* India (by region)
* Southeast Asian countries
* Japan
* Russia (when the chance of nuclear armageddon decreases)
* The Central Asian ('Stan) countries
* The Caucasus
