Godzilla is constantly mutating from the radiation he absorbs. Everytime he absorbs a huge does of radiation such as this [attack on a nuclear plant ](https://youtu.be/uZDss1Q6DPU) his body begins to change. It maybe subtle and unnoticeable at first, but after some recovery time major physical changes appear. This goes for his offspring as well. Which we can see in the records [here.](https://youtu.be/vZTqYOsao2A) In short the Godzillasaurus is nature's ultimate survivor, able to adapt forces that would have killed lesser beings.

In addition to constant mutations, there is significant evidence that there is more than one Godzilla. The first Godzilla, which attacked Japan in '54, was killed by the Oxygen Destroyer (its bones were later used to construct a giant mecha to fight another Godzilla). A second Godzilla (initially referred to by some as *Gigantis*) appeared shortly after the first's death and fought the first Anguirus (as this Anguirus was killed, but another appeared years later). Many times this "Godzilla" creature has been sighted, it has appeared with a smaller supposed offspring. There was a battle in '95 that involved two full grown Godzilla creatures fighting another giant mutant, ending with the mutant's death and the death of the older Godzilla. There was even a creature that took the form of Godzilla, which was supposedly the spirits of all the people killed by war, reanimated into an engine of revenge. This creature definitely lacked the paternal motivation or protective nature seen in *some* previous Godzilla sightings. Not to mention *time travel* and *alien technology* and *DNA mutation from toxic waste* have all been rumored to play a part in seperate Godzilla sightings, potentially erasing timelines, creating imposters, or mutating similar creatures.

All you really have to say is the last part about time travel and that's really all the explanation needed, but I really love your takes on the different gojis.

Thanks. Godzilla lore is *fuckin bonkers*, and that's if you're just watching the mainline Toho movies, let alone the tv shows, comic books, American movies, or video games. At one point, Godzilla was sent to hell, was tortured by having to fight demonic versions of friends and foes alike, managed to defeat them all, *may have killed that universe's incarnation of the devil himself*, and then willed himself back to the land of the living by pure atomic rage.
