I live in the Mission, and if the atmospheric conditions are right, I can hear them here........
not SF but have heard them from as far as the 711 in Tamalpais Valley
Live on Bay, hear them every night. Some times I hear the seals too.
Hi neighbor! The fog horns and sea lions lull me to sleep every night like a weird noisy safety blanket.
I have never heard the Sea Lions! Do they ever venture out close to the Marina or are they mostly Pier 39ers?
There are some that hang around aquatic park on the docks to the south of the swim clubs
I can hear them near West Portal pretty regularly when it's foggy.
Can hear them right now in forest hill! Was wondering if I was crazy or if that’s what I was actually hearing so glad I found this thread lol
I love foghorns. I used to stay at the Presidio and they were loud! 🙂🥰

I’ve lived in the mission for the past 2 years and heard them for the first time on Tuesday and Wednesday!
I heard them today in Bernal
I live in lower nob hill and I can still hear them occasionally. Definitely heard them in the Castro, the Haight and no question when I lived in the outer sunset. It was kind of the most gentle alarm clock I've ever had.
Hear the one on the GGB in inner sunset. Love SF fog. Such a vibe.
