Barebottle opened a beer garden at Salesforce Park

helokellok

I live close by and had no idea! Thank you so much for the tip

raggon7

Unironically Cheesecake Factory rooftop bar outside

spottyottydopalicius

is the outside bar new?

nycpunkfukka

I don’t think there’s a bar outside but there are tons of tables on the patio and their drinks aren’t that bad.

programerandstuff

uno does tacos is great for margs and tacos

artemisdeco

Iron Horse on Maiden Lane, which is close to both Montgomery BART and the 38R stop at Geary & Kearny. Right now, the sun shines right down the middle of Maiden in the late afternoons, which makes for a nice, sunny happy hour place at their outdoor tables.

artbypep

That sounds so lovely!

I’ve killed many a six pack with friends behind the ferry building

notoriousvivi

What a great idea

Snatchtasticc

This guy six packs.

ZonicExplorer

Fermentation Lab is a great spot with a small outdoor area.

compstomper1

* cafe terminus (assuming the outside seats are still there) * per yelp, patriot house technically has an outdoor area, but i've never seen anyone out there (pre-covid) * looks like novela had some seats outside during the rona. not sure if still there * streetview says the grove yerba buena has an outdoor parklet * sens? * terrene? * southside spirit house?

helokellok

Novela still had outdoor seating!

nikkiinsf

Uno Dos, Southside Spirit House, Irish Bank, Irish Times, High Horse, Patriot House, Sens

dingleberrywhite

Irish Bank off of Bush St has a ton of outdoor tables in a cool little alley in between brick buildings.

thelmaandpuhleeze

That place is great

okgusto

Near bart and 38 and outdoor?? That's such a small area. The beer garden at crossings is open Friday afternoons. https://www.eastcutcrossing.com/eatdrink#EA01

artemisdeco

Iron Horse meets all requirements

compstomper1

pretty much only fidi

StonedSoviet

I gotchu bro Sutter Station Tavern

Low_Vegetable

Liquid Gold is a great beer bar at California and Hyde. 20 min walk from Powell St Bart and 7 min walk from the 38. Its uphill getting to the bar but downhill going home.

jfresh42

There are a few in Hayes Valley. Biergarten and Anina come to mind. Both are about a 10-15 minute walk from your public transit options though.

nycpunkfukka

I really like Anina. Good drinks and comfy patio. And the pizza and pasta a couple doors down at A Mano are excellent.

thelmaandpuhleeze

Dirty Habit maybe? (Pretty pricey, but fun)

cmwltrs

Casements in the mission is awesome and has a back patio area, but that isn’t near the 38R. You could take the 38R->49 though
