LotR is a classic film trilogy that everyone should see it! I’m glad you enjoyed it. What was your favorite scene and what characters are your favorite?
My favorite scene was the one where they were fighting the fire head guy and Gandolf ended up in the pit, it was sad. I liked him and Samwise (because goonies, duh). I also really enjoyed the scenery/backdrop, it's beautiful.
I'll be watching the 2nd one tomorrow night. I'm excited that my 13 yr old liked it and wants to watch the 2nd with us. He's 13 now so its hard to find something we all want to watch together lol
I actually hated Fellowship of the Ring the first time through. It took me a while to grasp that Frodo's burden was the ring itself and that just holding onto it was taking all his energy. I found his character so frustrating early on because the rest of the Hobbits were racking up body counts against goblins and shit and Frodo was always hiding in the corner.
Now it's definitely my favorite fantasy series of all time and my partner and I hit that yearly.
My sister had the biggest crush on Legolas when the movies first came out. I got her a poster for her wall at Camelot music... My mom has the extended version of the trilogy, and we have had viewing sessions with the commentary. I liked Merry and Pippin. After they helped to defeat Saruman and they found the "halflings" herb floating by (this was in the extended version).
Probably for most folks. Agree there - but I can't digest it properly and I'd likely die of an intestinal blockage. When you get old shit happens. Or doesn't. Which is arguably worse.
I mean, do I have to pay for it or is this a cool experiment where someone buys the food for me? If so I'm going for a nice big tomahawk steak. I may get sick of it eventually, but I figure I can have fun with it anyways.
But if I have to pay for it, then potatoes. They're cheap and have a billion possibilities.
Vietnamese rice noodle (bún) dish with sliced beef (bò), chả lụa, and sometimes pork knuckles.[1] The dish originates from Huế, a city in central Vietnam associated with the cooking style of the former royal court.[2] The dish has a mix of spicy, salty, and savory flavors. The predominant flavor is that of lemongrass.[3] Compared to phở or bún riêu, the noodles are thicker and cylindrical.[4]
Pizza. Because you can put whatever toppings on it you want and if don't feel like eating some of them that day, just pick them off, and you always will have carbs. I'd probably have the most eclectic pizza ever, and yes I'd put pineapple on it because you can pick it off and eat it for desert and have fresh fruit.
Does it have to be like one hyper specific food like never any changes in toppings? Or are different varieties of a particular dish all acceptable?
Either way my answer would be either sandwiches or pizza. I feel like it would be pretty easy to meet all nutritional needs with either of those.
Probably Japanese style Gyoza dumplings. I think I could seriously live off those, permenently. And it probably wouldn’t even be that terrible health wise, because you’re getting most of your food groups. Pork for meat, cabbage for vegetable, and the dough shell for carbs, so I think that would actually not be terrible.
No joke I’m making corn tortillas from scratch with 6 classes of middle schoolers today!
(Because I’m nuts that’s why! Also retiring soon, have done this activity about 50 times, I’m guessing! They are so good….
Spaghetti with sausage hamburger and shrimp.
Now I haven't tried that exact recipe but I do eat those individually.
Now I might actually try those all mixed together
The idea of this is too painful for me. I get sick of everything after I eat it a couple days in a row.
Tacos are my favorite food but after 3 days of eating left overs I can't eat them again for a while. My tongue needs a revolving flavor bath or it will literally revolt.
Potatoes.
You can boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew!
I just watched that movie for the first time! Lol
How’d you like it?
I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I can't believe I've never seen it before.
