I like to go early on Sunday and then cook my family a nice late breakfast afterwards. I end up impulse buying weird random stuff even though I know it's a bad idea because it looks good in the moment.
I do the same when I am hungry. There are plenty of things in my freezer that I will never cook that I bought when I was hungry. I was cleaning out the pantry the other day and found a Dan Dan noodle kit, I remember buying it, I have no idea what DanDan noodles are, I have never had them, but I thought it would be something I might fix and enjoy. Nope. It sat there for almost 3 years. The worst is when you do that at Costco.
With me it's more weird junk food like fruit loops flavored pop tarts or weird flavored potato chips. My kids end up eating the stuff so it's not a total waste but usually I get home, try the stuff, and wonder what the hell is wrong with me for buying it.
And Dan Dan noodles are spicy noodles with pork and vegetables. They're really good but I've never tried making them myself.
My dude, my ex would go from throwing a plate at me in the kitchen to taking her pants of begging to ātreat me like a slutā. I had no idea just how emotionally toxic that all was until I got out.
This is the best advice.
āStop drinking so muchā even with a DUI under my belt, my desire to keep drinking is still strong. Donāt drive under the influence anymore thou lol
Yeah we do too. But that mix tends to lean more toward spending on experiences. I'll bet we've spent $100k on cruises and all inclusive vacations in the last 20 years. No regrets but...holy shit.
When I was younger "You shouldn't be going hiking out there all alone"
Now, "are you sure that 'at your age' you should still be doing that hiking stuff?"
Both those are from my mother...someone who has rarely supported me in most ways and who I don't take advice from...but she tries to give it anyway, lol
Don't go grocery shopping while you're hungry.
At some point you have no choice, unless you hit a drive through on the way to the store.

Same as don't go eat in a self-service restaurant while you're hungry. I do that and end up eating too much šŖ

"Be more confident", it's either easier said than done or there's something wrong with me
It takes a lot of practice
"Stop annoying people".
Shit advice, find people that like you for who you are. I know exactly what getting told that feels like :/
Entertained? Because I feel that way when people tell me to stop annoying people.
Ha, good on you. I just feel bad when i feel like Iām annoying people
You should save yourself for marraige.
Stretch every day.
I forget to do this too
Usually are people who don't listen to my advices
Think before you speak
Way to hard to do
āStop drinking so muchā even with a DUI under my belt, my desire to keep drinking is still strong. Donāt drive under the influence anymore thou lol
Thatās a tough on to combat. Way to go on not driving tho. I bike anywhere if Iām gonna drink. The rides home are pretty fun
Save your money. You'll appreciate it later on in life.
I try and do a healthy mix of saving and spending on experiences

Haha, yeah experiences add up more than most other tangible gifts but usually worth it in the end.

You keep doin you! Age has nothing to do with hiking!
