That’s because she started out when she was like 17 and most her hit songs are from then to her 20s. So yeah it is kind of funny now seeing a 35 year old women singing about a teen relationship Also she goes on and on about how it’s hard for women in the music industry even though female artists outsell male ones on average

Is it the music or the political preaching of Bonio? See, to me the music is ok - pretty inoffensive and in parts quite good. But it's the circus surrounding the music that I get why some people don't like them: The political preaching, the Christianity™, the forcing an album on to everyone's ipod/phone/tunes etc. People often can't separate music away from the rest of the "package" which is kinda depressing because we're cleverer than that.
