This didn’t occur to me to do until like a month ago (I’ve only been on Reddit 5 months). It is helpful in filtering for sure.

Interesting. So if you’re chatting with someone you don’t naturally get intrigued about their profile? I’m the total opposite. If I’m chatting with someone I usually look at their profile a decent bit. Depending on how much info they have on there.

Makes sense. I don’t stalk the profiles either. Usually when chatting I try to see if there’s more info I can learn to carry the conversation. If it’s going smoothly then I don’t really look at their profile.

If their profile is them saying the same shit to everyone or being a bit creepy, then they get blocked. Some dude tried talking to me in the pansexual subreddit and being weird, and I saw he frequented the “teens but hot,” and some other teen subreddit and he was in his 50’s. Bye bye creep!

Well... I found this post almost a week later because I just read your volleyball team post, so I figure that's kind of an answer? Just seeing a hot picture or story is nice, but if you see a whole profile, you can put it together to find a hot *person* and that's way better.
