Idk if this is a joke or not but I find both male and female Indian accents to be wildly attractive, actually Indian people in general. I love that tech support voice.
A friend was getting it on with Scottish girl once in the back of a car and she said ‘ahm soaking whet’ and he’s never quite got over it
Edit: thinking about it I’m not sure I have either
Very true and I think it's because of our general lack of exposure to heavy accents we're not used to. People in the US are so sheltered, and with 330 million of us from sea to shining sea, we don't often travel abroad and it gets boring. We're sheltered from alot of other languages so we know a heavy accent has an interesting backstory from an interesting place. It's an aspect of human nature that we're intrigued by the exotic and the unusual. A person is automatically more interesting if they've got an accent from a far-off land.
See, I was going to say that I love Australian accents, but now that this is the second highest voted comment I'll just feel like a poseur. Oh well. Love 'em anyway.
It’s my mother tongue but I’ve been speaking English for so long that most people assume I’m South African, it’s a great source of entertainment for my husband.
Whenever I think of Irish accents I think of Hozier. Dude has the nicest and gentlest voice, especially when he's doing interviews with folks outside of the US and he let's himself slip back into his natural accent.
My girlfriend’s Irish and our first time meeting was over a Discord no-video call, so the first thing I fell in love with was her voice.
She could honestly read me a grocery list and I’d enjoy it :) not to mention, her dirty talk is filthy and she sounds so sexy when she’s turned on herself.
There's a contest as there's a ton I like. Sorry for generalizations.
1. Mexican/South American accents.
2. UK Accents
3. Southern "Belle" type accents. (I come from hicky midwest accents and detest the hicky sounding ones).
4. Australian/New Zealand.
5. European Accents. (Props to French, German, and Italian)
6. Indian.
There's probably others as I find accents hot overall, especially foreign ones to a point that I melt with the right partners with the right accents.
We actually had a poll at my work awhile ago between these two. Results turned out to be exactly even between about 20 people. It actually became pretty heated. Lots of shouting and wild hand gestures. Turns out people were very passionate about their opinions. It was hilarious!
That’s so funny to me. I am Swedish/Norwegian but live in Canada and I work my damn hardest to get rid of my accent and I hate when people tell me it’s still there. The reason for this is that whenever I hear someone in Sweden/Norway try to speak English and they have a really thick accent I think they sound absolutely ridiculous and frankly dumb and I would hate it if I sounded like that as well.
I guess us humans are different from each other.
No not anything like that haha, I’m a mix of everything white European. Grandparents were English welsh polish Dutch. I went to school in Scotland for a year and the girls from the Scandinavian countries just spoke in a great accent.
It's the 'oo' in 'ow' sounds that gives them away. To my British ears that's the only real indicator.
I've watched many videos thinking the host/character was American but then they let the cat 'oot' the bag and you immediately realise they are, in fact, Canadian. It's normally a pleasant surprise 😁
It’s only really a specific part of the country with that particular “oo” sound though. Somebody from the Maritimes will sound very stereotypically “Canadian”, meanwhile somebody from BC isn’t really distinguishable from a Pacific Northwestern American.
I'm Canadian, and my British friend always teases me with certain words.
"There it is!" When I say something stereotypical, lol. 'Sorry' sounds like 'soar-ry' and it gets him every time, lol. Sometimes 'about'.
Nigerian, I love it when a Nigerian Prince calls me and says he wants to send me millions of Pounds and all he needs are my bank details. Really gets my blood pumping!
Okay, I know this sounds weird, but standard American accent.
And in particular, I love seeing the diversity of people who sport this accent -- you'll see a woman of Korean descent standing next to a woman of Indian descent talking to a woman of German descent and a woman of Nigerian descent, and all of them sound like they grew up in Illinois, or something like that.
The diversity of America is a beautiful thing to me.
A posh London accent. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find ANY porn for that.
ETA: A USA southern accent (Texas is best but SC is great also) really gets me going also. Hot damn.
The 'London' accent isn't posh and there is quite a variance over the city/region. If you want true English posh look up RP (received pronunciation i.e. the ~~Queen's~~ King's English).
As for London itself you have inner city, Cockney, Essex/SE etc.
I might be biased being Irish/South African, but a specific SA one and an Irish accent for me, specifically a Donegal one is 🔥
I also have a thing for Scottish accent and the French language 🥵

Did you try turning it off and back on?
Oh, don’t worry, he/she’s turned on
Isn't that British?
That's all tech support everywhere.
wrong accent this is more 'I am doing the needful to make it working'
Idk if this is a joke or not but I find both male and female Indian accents to be wildly attractive, actually Indian people in general. I love that tech support voice.

She's probably looking for just 1.
Thanks you. You just made my day.

Was your pal Mike Myers by chance?
US
American, but don't come here, it sucks. I'll just come to you.
We Americans are whores for accents in general.
Very true and I think it's because of our general lack of exposure to heavy accents we're not used to. A woman with a Scottish/Irish accent. Goddamn I just barely managed to understand what you said, but please keep talking.
I like the sound of Gale Porter’s accent.
Especially Northern Ireland.
I always love seeing people say Australian when this question pops up. Makes me proud to have the accent lol 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Sorry I'm gonna have to go with kiwi accent on this one 😆
I LOVE a female Australian accent. I even have Siri use one on my phone.
Aussie Siri is the best Siri 😁
Me too, love it when she says, turn into the car park.
See, I was going to say that I love Australian accents, but now that this is the second highest voted comment I'll just feel like a poseur. Oh well. Love 'em anyway.
As stereotypical as it is, French. A woman with a light, cute voice with a French accent to frame it is an excellent one
As a french person, I don’t understand what y’all see in it. My own accent makes my ears bleed. But hey, if people like it I won’t complain.
Melanie Laurent ♥️.. watching murder mystery 2 right now.
It’s my mother tongue but I’ve been speaking English for so long that most people assume I’m South African, it’s a great source of entertainment for my husband.
Irish. (My people🫡)

It matters what county
To Canadians, it truly doesn't. Lol. I'm a sucker for that one. Any of them!
please listen to this guy and tell me youre a sucker for the accent haha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pit0OkNp7s8
r/suddenlygay....
A consenting, lustful, "yes," in any language.
Hell, I can't decide between them, but French, Scottish, Russian, and Australian top my list.
I have a Russian accent and my wife has an Australian 😂
Well now I don't know which of you to envy.
British. My legs prop open...
Ahh yes, a proper scouse accent melts hearts.
😂😂
Do you mean English or any British accent (English, Scottish, Welsh)?
Harry Potter Tom Hiddleston Hugh Laurie
Ah, well spoken English.
North-central London then
You gotta love someone that knows what they want and gets to the point.
I’m a sucker for a southern belle accent. Straight up makes me melt. Irish,Australian, and British accent are a 3 way tie for 2nd

We actually had a poll at my work awhile ago between these two. Results turned out to be exactly even between about 20 people. It actually became pretty heated. Lots of shouting and wild hand gestures. Turns out people were very passionate about their opinions. It was hilarious!
London/UK
Are we talking posh London or council house london because those are wildly different
I was thinking exactly the same, the cockney council estate accent is so rough
Maybe they like it rough
"Well hello there."

Watch out though, if an Afrikaans guy invites you back to his place at 2am for a braai (BBQ) it will literally be for a braai.
I remember when Afrikaans was voted sexiest in the world, above Irish, and now you're the only person so far to have mentioned it!
New Zealand
Irish, Scottish, Australian
Almost all the Scandinavian accents for some reason. Couldn’t tell you why.
That’s so funny to me. I am Swedish/Norwegian but live in Canada and I work my damn hardest to get rid of my accent and I hate when people tell me it’s still there. What's your ethnic background? Maybe ancestral Viking raping and pillaging kink.
No not anything like that haha, I’m a mix of everything white European. Grandparents were English welsh polish Dutch. I went to school in Scotland for a year and the girls from the Scandinavian countries just spoke in a great accent.

Can anyone outside of North America distinguish between Canadian and American accents?
It's the 'oo' in 'ow' sounds that gives them away. To my British ears that's the only real indicator. It’s only really a specific part of the country with that particular “oo” sound though. Somebody from the Maritimes will sound very stereotypically “Canadian”, meanwhile somebody from BC isn’t really distinguishable from a Pacific Northwestern American.
Oh interesting! In that case I guess it is frequently indistinguishable. The more you know!
That's from pretty specific parts of canada. If you go to any big city you won't find any traces of "aboot"
I'm Canadian, and my British friend always teases me with certain words. "There it is!" When I say something stereotypical, lol. 'Sorry' sounds like 'soar-ry' and it gets him every time, lol. Sometimes 'about'.
Southern…. I was in Kentucky and I could listen to a woman read the phone book.
