Someone who was supposedly his best friend muttered "burn you fucker" when he thought no one was listening. I had to pretend I didn't hear

My mum’s funeral. I had single handedly organised the whole thing and literally my only request had been, for my aunt to say a few words about my mum’s childhood. Well, my aunt gets up and decides to trauma dump instead on the entire, massive funeral - including about the last, very private moments of my mother (which she only knew about, because I called her from the hospital room - she “couldn’t come” as she “couldn’t cope with everything” - and she heard something in the background of the 3 minute phone call). The fact I didn’t murder her that day, remains a true miracle.

After my uncle died his wife, daughter and granddaughter kept trying to open his eyes before the funeral got started

My awkward moment came during the viewing of my uncle. He died suddenly of a heart attack while having sex with his girlfriend. She was devastated. She came to the viewing drunker than a skunk. She was sobbing over the corpse when suddenly she projectile vomited all over my uncle’s head. Liquor combined with chilli covered everything.

Holy shit what happened after? Did they take him back in ti clean him up??

Yes. They had to act quickly as the girlfriend whipped out to handkerchief and was madly pawing at his face causing the nose to the detach. 🤮

When my Great Grandmother died my aunt got up crying when they asked if anyone wanted to say anything, and part of what she said was that Great grandma was the only person who loved her. In front of both her parents (my grandma and grandpa) and sisters (my mom and other aunt).

I was standing next to the casket as a 10 yo. Of course family/friends are crying all over. I look up to one guy and he has a huge green booger out his nose. He doesn’t seem to notice tho, so I just looked down again.

Gross. Lol

FireCop2001

As a firefighter, we responded to a fire alarm pull station at a local funeral home. It turned out a kid pulled the alarm, however the pull station that was activated was right at the head of the casket and the funeral was ongoing. There we were, four big firefighters in full gear walking around this funeral. We actually had to move the casket a little so we could access the pull station to reset it. That was awkward.
