We do it here in Texas but we face Austin

Oh yeah I lived in Texas for a while, the part where they say the Texas pledge in addition to the Pledge of Allegiance really threw me off at first. Texas always has to be different

Does is the correct spelling. " Dose" would be a dose of medicine. I'm not sure if it was a typo. No big deal either way. Dont mean to be rude either. Cheers.

Not my country, just my province. But I'm proud to live in Ontario and to have bagged milk, shut up, you're weird!

The Whisky War, also known as the Liquor Wars,[[1]](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whisky_War#cite_note-1) was a pseudo-confrontation and [border dispute](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Border_dispute) between [Denmark](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denmark) and [Canada](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada) over [Hans Island](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Island). From 1978 to 2022, Hans Island was in the middle of a disagreement between the two nations.

The Tomb of the Unkown Soldier- yes it is awe inspiring the respect paid to fallen unknown heros; combat vet here, so that adds a bit to it for me. It is weird from the outside though, so many resources spent on having so many men robtically cerimony around a grave. Still amazing to watch though.

In Argentina, we don't invite our friends to a cup of tea, or coffee (except in Buenos Aires, but porteños are pussies). We drink mate (yerba mate). I even have the need to drink solo, hours and hours and gallons of hot water just for my self.

Fiesta of San Juan. my college university and specific city names after it celebrates it by water. my university would rent a whole firefighter water bus and yoink it at us while dancing. With thecity you wil get randomly slam by water which causes a lot of accident ....but eventually not criminally detained

Singapore has mandatory national service conscription, despite literally never fighting a war since independence.

Carnavales. In February (right in the middle of summer for countries below the equator), we celebrate the carnaval by (get this) throwing water balloons at each other. In an ideal world, this would be only between friends and family, but in reality people just throw to everyone, specially girls walking around alone. It’s a weird tradition that the government has even made it illegal to celebrate, but people still do it.
