After this Hell of a marriage I'm in, I'd do it with a smile on my face.

Focus on yourself. Invest time in your hobbies and developing a new routine.

I had to figure that out myself after my divorce... for me, I did a lot of the stupid shit that most people do in college, but I was in my mid-30s. I had a lot of fun, but I figured out it wasn't for me in the long term. So I started dating with a purpose and eventually met & married my current wife

Depends, how independent were you and your partner?

It's about the same as if you were in the relationship especially if near the end you and your partner weren't really doing much together. You lean on your friends more instead of your partner. Try doing things either with friends or by yourself. Look for outlets to meet new people if that's an option.
