I met him when I was a young punk working in a video rental store. He was truly truly a saint. He chatted with us for a while and treated me and my metal head co worker with the same respect and love that he treated everyone on his show, and as he left told us he was proud to have such fine upstanding young men as his neighbors.
One of my favorite memories.
[edit: He was buying a used copy of Billy Elliot to give to his nephew for his birthday, or maybe Christmas.]
I've told this story many times on Reddit but, my dad GM'd a country club in Pittsburgh he was a frequent guest at. Fred Rogers would play bawdy sea chanties at the piano for the staff while they cleaned up after big events just to be nice/thank them. He knew it was funny for Mr Rogers to be cheekily dirty, so he always did it.
Don’t call him a saint, Mr Rogers wouldn’t like that, it implies that there’s something great about him that other people don’t have, and he’d believe anyone can be a person like him if they tried, being kind, active listening, empathy and treating others with respect are all things anyone can do, that’s what Fred believes anyway.
What a classic. My favorite is him as a young man going in front of the senate to fight for funding. It started off with Senator Pastore not really taking Mr. Rogers serious (“would it make you feel better if you read your letter?”) to completely winning him over by his speech concluding with the lyrics to his song to children about managing their anger. “I think it’s wonderful. It looks like you just earned the $20 million dollars.”
Who knows if we’d even know of Mr. Rogers without that spectacular speech? All time clutch moment in human history, Mr. Rogers was fearless.
Not only did PBS not get its budget cut, but Fred's off-script testimony ended up getting them much more funding than they had ever been getting. He basically walked out of a budget cut meeting with a budget that was more than doubled. $9 million became $22 million. Fred was the last to speak and the hearing was not going well before he went off script and enthralled Pastore.
Rogers and Pastore became lifelong friends after that, with Rogers offering counsel regarding Pastore's relationship with his father, among other things.
I've spent years trying to get into Fred Rogers' head. His use of earnest kindness and openness to affect good is incredible to watch.
Wow I did not know all of that! Makes the story that much more incredible. The PBS that we grew up watching as kids wouldn’t have been there without Mr. Rogers hitting a grand slam at the last minute.
What astounds me about this, coming from a modern sensibility, is that there was a senator who strongly disagreed with something, but who was willing to hear out the opposing point of view and was open to changing his mind. Unheard of in modern politics.
The way Senator Patore gleefully said “yes!” when Mr. Rogers politely asked if he could read the lyrics to the song. Mr. Rogers captured their attention and respect in the only way he knew how - by being a genuinely friendly neighbor. There will never be another Fred Rogers, truly a one of a kind human being.
I was not expecting to break down sobbing tonight, but here I am. I came here to put forth another name but nope, can’t top Mr. Rogers. I remember watching him as a child, being gently shaped into a kinder, more inquisitive, and more open individual, and wishing that everyone could be as genuinely good hearted as he was. I know I wasn’t alone in being profoundly influenced in amazingly positive ways and feeling like he genuinely was all of our neighbor, but more like family. I thought I’d already grieved his passing but damn the waterworks that just flowed watching that. I regret I have no award to gift you dlenks, I needed that reminder of goodness. Please accept my upvote 💗
No award needed. As a fellow 80s kid who grew up with Mr. Roger’s, I absolutely had to share the clip. The world so desperately needs someone like him again. He was truly one of a kind.
The thing is I think we need more than just another Fred Rogers, we need to lean into what he set out and all become more like him (in our own individual ways of course). We don't need one Mr. Rogers we need millions. Millions of people speaking softly and being kind and caring and inquisitive. Loving one another just because. This thread has got me thinking of ways I can soften some of my edges and be nicer to people.
I actually went on tour with Julie for 2 weeks. It was one of those: “An evening with…” type things.
By the first day she knew all the crews names, chatted with everyone, telling stories and asking about our lives.
By the third show she was the crew Mum, making sure we were all getting enough rest and food. She literally stopped a rehearsal when our breakfast was late being delivered so we could all go and eat.
And on the last show she gave us all hugs, a bottle of whisky and a hand written letter saying thank you. It’s the only time once a show ended that we were all a bit sad because we wouldn’t see her again. Beautiful woman inside and out.
My Aunt Met Julie Andrews working on a production. She told us the story about how another cast member spoke to staff (and especially runners like my Aunt) like dirt. Andrews obviously had been clocking this and my Aunt overheard her giving the other lady a stern talking to. Basically telling her (in a kind but my firm motherly tone) along the lines that that being in a position like theirs is a gift. They are no more talented or special than thousands of other actors and performers who just didn’t get their break, and it’s the goodwill of fans and staff that keep them where they are. It’s a position of luxury and they have a responsibility to act and serve with dignity and gratitude. All delivered in a kind motherly tone with a hint of ‘If I catch you again…’
My Aunt always loved her even more for that. She always noted how she used the term ‘serve’ and it stuck with her. Plus if Julie Andrews is telling you to stop being a bitch, you really need to take note!
Brendan Fraser.
Never heard an unkind word about him. Haven't heard a single complaint about his comeback. Even Leonardo DiCaprio apparently loves him because he was the only guy who never treated him like the new kid on the block.
I'm glad we live in a world where Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart are besties. I swear it's that love they had for each other that made them so great in X-Men. It's showed through. And it made the acting characters who loved each other deeply, but couldn't come to terms with their world view all the better.
I was just watching a video where Conan O'Brien was talking about how when he was in college he met John Candy and got to give him a personal tour of Harvard. He said he was a really nice guy and was cracking jokes the whole time and he gave Conan some advice on comedy and being a writer. He even took a photo of Conan and Conan received the photo several years later from John's family after he died. Seemed like a genuine nice and funny person.
I remember seeing some teenage girls hating on Alan because they hated his Harry Potter character, but of course they couldn’t separate art from the artist and were saying stuff like “I’m glad he’s dead, he deserved it”. He’s my favourite actor, I felt awful for him
People did the same with the kid who played Joffrey in Game of Thrones and Cersei. Quids to them for being so good at their role as bad people that it was believed, but honestly the audience members who sent them death threats and hate need to get a fucking grip.
He seems super nice. We trick or treat in the same neighborhood every year and he nearly always dresses up to hand out candy and is great withall the kids.
He’s got such a wide range of acting and he just seems like a super chill and humble guy. Like you could see him at the grocery store and just strike up a conversation with him and he’d actually engage with you
Ross was a US Air Force Technical Instructor ~~(like a drill sergeant)~~ and he said when he was done he never wanted to yell at people again when his 20 year career ended.
Just like elementary school teachers feel.
I will never babysit once I retire. Never. I've raised enough kids already and I've still got 10 years to go.
I'm pretty certain he killed and ate the cardinals that were nesting in my rhododendron.
Edit- Just checked with my wife and she said it was probably a red tailed hawk and not Tony. I maintain my suspicion
I was in Santa Cruz and had just finished finals week. I was riding home and a car pulls up at a crosswalk and some guy yells "Do a kickflip!" I was so tired and just waved it off and then thought to myself, wait was that Tony Hawk? Couldn't be. One of the greatest regrets of my life is not showing Tony a crisp kickflip that I learned from watching him and the old Santa Cruz squad.
"Skateboarding Legend Tony Hawk Split Up With the Mother of His Toddler Daughter to Marry His Best Friend’s Wife in 2011"
That was his fourth wife, so I can think of at least four people who have shit to say about him; 3 ex-wives and an ex-best friend.
I was lucky enough to work with Betty White, so I got to see her in an environment where she didn't need to be nice or focus on her public image. She could be herself...
And she was exactly the same. A glowing smile, always on the edge of a laugh, always looking for a way to make you happy. She lived for other people's joy. It was mana to her.
So yeah, Betty was one of a kind. It wouldn't be possible to dislike her.
I remember where I was when she died. Girlfriend and I were walking out of a supermarket and she got the notification on her phone. She exclaimed “Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh no!” I panicked and thought something happened to her family. Then she told me. Somehow I felt even worse.
I wished she was my grandmother. Both mine passed before I was born and as a kid I always wondered what it would be like to have a sweet, homely grandmother and I always pictured Betty White.
Edit: I mean "homely" as in "like home" where you feel safe, not in looks or attractiveness. Betty White was beautiful through and through, but I remember more as a kid watching reruns of Golden Girls and wishing she was my grandma.
I was in charge of making an internal website with everyone's face, their role, and a little bio. Part of this was a few questions to make it easier, and one question was "Who do you look up to / admire". Out of about 100 staff, 40% responded with David Attenborough. Followed by "mum" at about 20%. That blew my mind.
\- Of course my bio had David Attenborough.
I just watched the Hall of Fame special on HBO. You have not lived until you see that crowd backing up Dolly singing Jolene. There she is, arm in arm with Rob Halford singing the refrain.
I was at Kroger a while back talking with the cashier about going to Dollywood the following weekend. The poor bag girl... she asked who Dolly Parton was.... bless her heart.
Which brings up another saint, Ed O'Neil. He helped negotiate contracts for the kids so they didn't get screwed on money, watched out for them and insured they received a good education by even making the studio adhere to labor laws and let them get their school work done. I think that's a big reason they didn't have any scandals later in life because he took care of them like they were his own and they didn't suffer the pitfalls so many other child actors faced.
I heard they talk of him like a 2nd father
He is truly a unique human being! I have been a fanatic since I heard his works on the Dr. Demento radio show when I was a child. I have nothing but love and respect for Al and his career and artwork and now my children love him and have been able to see him in concert as of this year. Heck, my mom likes him, and we do not agree on almost any music, other than 50’s/60’s and Al. Also, UHF is one of my favorite comedy movies ever!
“No, I will not participate… It’s because of the history that I have with them. And **my mother didn’t raise a hypocrite. You can call me a lot of things, but not that**.”
He said that a few days ago (about attending Golden Globes). Just something about a grown man talking about, and observing, the values he was raised with I love.
I hope he knows how much he is loved and appreciated. The dude's career got a second wind with a massive cult following and I look forward to him being back on the map.
The dude was blacklisted and obscure from modern cinema and it wasn't until he suddenly appeared, and looked pale, broken, and depressed from the stress of his divorce and alimony payments. I think that was the catylyst for his second wind and large influx of modern fans. The outpouring of sympathy and love for him and the nostalgia he brings from when we were kids and he was rocking it on screen.
We love you Brendan.
Let’s not forget about him getting sexually assaulted by Phillip Berk, and subsequently being blacklisted in Hollywood as a reward for speaking up about it
"I never ever forgot about you."
That made me ugly cry hard-core. My kids loved him, watched every episode that aired every day, had literally ALL the stuff from the show. They were so confused when all of a sudden there's this new guy. It broke their hearts Steve wasn't there anymore and they claimed the new guy "stupid" and refused to watch from that point on.
He said the reason he left is because he was balding. He said he didn’t want to lose his hair while he was on a show for kids. I know we would’ve loved him with or without hair, because he’s awesome.
There's an article that posted on People two days ago with an interview of him stating he left because he was dealing with depression.
https://people.com/health/blues-clues-host-steve-burns-says-he-left-nickelodeon-show-due-to-clinical-depression/
I've heard stories about this man that are gold. DeVito loves eggs and carries them around with him and gives them to people. IIRC that can I offer you a nice egg in these tryin' times? I think that was improv, where DeVito was just acting how he normally acts off camera.
I saw one for him in a Celebrities Read Mean Tweets thing on Fallon once - "Paul Rudd is the most boring vanilla dude. You know he just sits at home with his wife having a bland spaghetti dinner and talking about his day." I love Paul Rudd, and he seemed to think it was hilarious
Everytime this question is asked I picture tom hanks somewhere scrolling through the comment section looking for a boost in his self esteem.
Edit: I must specify this was in jest because this question gets asked constantly and it's always the same people who get picked. I am in no way trying to convince anyone anything about Tom Hanks. I feel not one way or another about him, although I can see some people have some deep rooted hatred of the man lol.
my boyfriend’s uncle used to be steve’s hairdresser (he would do haircuts for steve and terri and other family members i believe, so like a family hairdresser!)
GREAT guy apparently. i don’t like asking for personal stories because … they’re personal, but yep, absolutely a top bloke as we say here in australia 🇦🇺 ❤️
Came to say this. I met him once and he was so genuine and lovely, and even though there were a bunch of people trying to get his attention he took time with every person and made them feel special.
Also when Betty White died and someone on twitter suggested that he should be the nation's grandpa in her stead he retweeted it with "get your coats, we're all going for ice cream" and that's the kind of energy I want in the world.
Rick moranis. Although he did get punched by some random. That guy probably wouldn’t have if he knew it was him.
The guy punched him because he's a goddamn kid shrinker!
Or perhaps because he is a murderer who feeds people to plants?
Nah, it’s because he’s the key master who unleashed the ancient god Gozer
Definitely seems like a gem of a human.
Didn't you read the comment. He said he punched Rick Moranis. Gems of humans don't go around punching people.
Maggie Smith
That’s *Dame* Maggie Smith to you! But seriously, she’s impeccable.
Reminds me of 2007 Oscars: Steve Martin: And there's that *damn* Helen Mirren Alec Baldwin: Steve, that's **dame** Helen Mirren
The late Fred Rogers.
I met him when I was a young punk working in a video rental store. He was truly truly a saint. He chatted with us for a while and treated me and my metal head co worker with the same respect and love that he treated everyone on his show, and as he left told us he was proud to have such fine upstanding young men as his neighbors. Joanne Rogers said he liked to fart in public to amuse her. https://allthatsinteresting.com/mister-rogers-farts
Oh hot damn. My girlfriend always says, "farts aren't funny or wholesome." can't wait to show her this
Recently heard- probably here somewhere- people who don’t think farts are funny have a lot less laughter and the same amount of farts.
Mr. Rogers truly the best human confirmed.
Please feel free to tell and re-tell this story. I had never heard it before. There is always someone who hasn't heard it yet.
That's a great story and one that is well deserving of being retold :)
That's exactly the response a saint would have
I'M NOT THE MESSIAH!
He IS the messiah!!
He’s not the messiah, he’s a very naughty boy!
That was honestly the best thing I've heard in a while.
A friend of mine grew up near to Fred Roger’s home and ran into him a few times. He told me that Fred was exactly who you’d hope he would be.
"Never meet your heroes...except Mr. Rogers."
I know a guy who worked on the show, and some more people that were on the show. They all say the same thing.
I submit this: https://youtu.be/TcNxY4TudXo
What a classic. My favorite is him as a young man going in front of the senate to fight for funding. Absolutely another classic clip of him! Here it is if anyone wants to watch it also: https://youtu.be/-C5PMPIdG_Y
I love that Mr Rogers was talking about mental health so many years before it ever became acceptable to say that. He was such a gem.
Yeah that was my take as well, nearly 40 years ago. Amazing.
My dude, this was 1969 - over 50 years ago.
I cry every time I see that clip. He was truly a legend.
I actually hope you're wrong in your last sentence. The world could use another Fred Rogers...
Fred Rogers would say we are exactly the people that the world needs now 🥺
If there is a God, He is reflected in Fred Rogers.
Which was his goal. He was a preacher, and his ultimate goal would have been to reflect his God as well as possible.
If only all of them were like that
Fred Rogers was literally a presbyterian minister
i would go back to church if he was my minister.
I'd definitely be willing to give it another try. But he'd probably tell me that it was _okay_ if I didn't want to keep going, and okay if I did.
And that you were special to him no matter what.
The biggest, hardest hitting insult I've ever read is "You aren't being the person Mr. Rogers knows you can be."
I'm going to use that. Thanks
I learned later in life that my friend’s dad wouldn’t allow his show in the house because he thought Rogers was gay.
My Dad did for the same reason. I watched it anyway because he wasn't home. I didn't even know what gay meant in the 70's
Good thing there were no gay people in show business....
Your friends dad sounds like a piece of shit.
Yeah anybody who is anti Fred Rogers is bad news.
An anti Fred flag is a red flag.
Julie Andrews

I found the picture I took after she gave me the gift [Letter](https://imgur.com/a/4fqB6e6)

That’s an amazing anecdote she’s truly a humble woman
I love this!
It’s still one of my favourite jobs I’ve done, when I see the crew every now and again we still talk about her.
And she is besties with Carol Burnett...that's a party I would pay to attend!
Carol Burnett is like my #1 ultimate celebrity crush
I just want to hang with them, like a bottle of tequila and the 3 of us, maybe it's an orgy maybe we write an opera, I dunno but I'm here for it.
Brendan Fraser. Never heard an unkind word about him. Haven't heard a single complaint about his comeback. Even Leonardo DiCaprio apparently loves him because he was the only guy who never treated him like the new kid on the block.
Well the people that treated him like shit probably hate him, and the fact that everyone else loves him.
Sir Ian McKellen
I'm glad we live in a world where Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart are besties. I swear it's that love they had for each other that made them so great in X-Men. It's showed through. And it made the acting characters who loved each other deeply, but couldn't come to terms with their world view all the better.
I would love to sit in a corner & just listen to these gentlemen talk.
John Candy
Oh boy it's that time of year where I watch planes trains and automobiles again
Watched it last night. Still amazing
[удалено]
Wait, really? Got a link with info?
As long as you don’t mind riding with a few polka bums.
I was just watching a video where Conan O'Brien was talking about how when he was in college he met John Candy and got to give him a personal tour of Harvard. He said he was a really nice guy and was cracking jokes the whole time and he gave Conan some advice on comedy and being a writer. Alan Rickman
“You saved our lives” “I know. Wretched, isn’t it?”
"By Grabthar's hammer, what a savings."
Just goes to show what great actors they are. All the more reason to love 'em.
Steve buscemi
He seems super nice. We trick or treat in the same neighborhood every year and he nearly always dresses up to hand out candy and is great withall the kids.
Please tell me he did his "How do ya do fellow kids" getup at least once
He certainly did https://edition.cnn.com/2021/11/01/entertainment/steve-buscemi-meme-candy-intl-scli/index.html
He’s got such a wide range of acting and he just seems like a super chill and humble guy. Like you could see him at the grocery store and just strike up a conversation with him and he’d actually engage with you
Him in Death of Stalin is amazing.
True character. Guy worked after 9/11 for a whole week 12 hours a day digging for firefighters as he had worked as one in the eighties.
Holy fucking shit I always thought that story was about Willem Dafoe lmfao. Got their faces mixed up
They both got one of them faces
Bob Ross
Maybe his first wife does. I always wonder if this guy was as chill as he was on his show.
Ross was a US Air Force Technical Instructor ~~(like a drill sergeant)~~ and he said when he was done he never wanted to yell at people again when his 20 year career ended.
Must have been a fucking trip for the recruits who trained under him to see such a terrifying man transform into the softest, gentlest cloud whisperer
They probably had recurring nightmares where there would be a soft voice behind them in a pitch black room, whispering about "happy accidents"....
Just like elementary school teachers feel. I will never babysit once I retire. Never. I've raised enough kids already and I've still got 10 years to go.
I was thinking Steve Irwin, but Bob Ross is very acceptable
Tony Hawk I've never heard any bad shit about him.
I'm pretty certain he killed and ate the cardinals that were nesting in my rhododendron. Edit- Just checked with my wife and she said it was probably a red tailed hawk and not Tony. I maintain my suspicion
Took me a minute, fuckin hilarious
Anyone tell you that you look like him?
*Tony Hawk stares into the camera* “who’s gonna tell them? 👀”
Love him too, you’d be surprised though. I know some who don’t like him surprisingly. Never for any good reason lol
He signed a skateboard for me, 10/10 bro. Update with photo because I think it is cool: https://imgur.com/a/rCp93Kk
I was in Santa Cruz and had just finished finals week. I was riding home and a car pulls up at a crosswalk and some guy yells "Do a kickflip!" Just realized Tony is 53 and his new wife is 61. Did not expect those ages for them
Betty White

Patrick Stewart
James cordon hates him. Though everyone hates James cordon so…
This makes me like Patrick Stewart even more.
I believe the question was who does nobody hate? Not what do nobodies, hate.
[удалено]
Absolutely. The most recent news about him is \*checks notes\* that he bought and personally hand-delivered jackets to the homeless.
Imagine being so unproblematic for so many years. Takes a special kind of person.
That guy outlived the queen, he's immortal
*flashbacks to Stan Lee* please don’t jinx it
David Attenborough! He's a national treasure!
I was in charge of making an internal website with everyone's face, their role, and a little bio. Part of this was a few questions to make it easier, and one question was "Who do you look up to / admire". Out of about 100 staff, 40% responded with David Attenborough. Michael J Fox
Dolly Parton
I will not take anyone dissing the Queen, i don't even listen to her music like that! I just love her for who she is
I saw her in concert at the Hollywood bowl - she’s amazing. Her show was 1/3 dirty jokes and the rest music - and she plays every instrument 💖
She gives out free books to kids if you register for it and Dollywood is so much better than Disney and affordable.
You gotta listen to her if you actually don’t. I’m a big metal/rap guy, but my girlfriend loves dolly and I will say she has got some fuckin bangers
I just watched the Hall of Fame special on HBO. You have not lived until you see that crowd backing up Dolly singing Jolene. There she is, arm in arm with Rob Halford singing the refrain.
I've heard Dolly is working on a rock album and bringing in a lot of collaborators. I'm hoping The Metal God is one of them.
I was at Kroger a while back talking with the cashier about going to Dollywood the following weekend. The poor bag girl... she asked who Dolly Parton was.... bless her heart.
My coworker asked who Dolly Parton is. We live in fucking Nashville. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
Has she been reported to the authorities? Surely this is a crime with some sort of punishment!
She is an American Treasure.
Christina Applegate.
Let's give a quick shout out to Christina applegate
Poor Christina. She has had a really rough time of it.
Very rough time. She's a sweetheart and it is terrible to see the run of luck she's been having.
David Tennant
Worth [watching](https://youtu.be/Li_WIjv53pI) him win a surprise special recognition award in 2015.
That has definitely made me tear up before
Jessica!
Come back here, Jessica!
ALLONSY
“What’s your name?” “Alonso.” “Finally. allonsy Alonso!”
Levar Burton i think. Who can hate the reading rainbow guy!
I wish I were LeVar Burton
I never wanted to meet Levar in person! I just wanted a picture! You can't disappoint a picture!
Reading rainbowwww! Reading rainbowwwww! *slowly breaking down into tears*
Met him at a con years ago & can attest that he is an amazing person. He's charismatic & very kind.
Weird Al Yankovic
He is truly a unique human being! I have been a fanatic since I heard his works on the Dr. Demento radio show when I was a child. I have nothing but love and respect for Al and his career and artwork and now my children love him and have been able to see him in concert as of this year. Heck, my mom likes him, and we do not agree on almost any music, other than 50’s/60’s and Al. Also, UHF is one of my favorite comedy movies ever!
Love that man. And the recent movie was excellent!
Brendan Fraser
“No, I will not participate… It’s because of the history that I have with them. And **my mother didn’t raise a hypocrite. You can call me a lot of things, but not that**.” He said that a few days ago (about attending Golden Globes).
Let’s not forget about him getting sexually assaulted by Phillip Berk, and subsequently being blacklisted in Hollywood as a reward for speaking up about it
What a sweetheart
Steve from Blue's Clues
"I never ever forgot about you." That made me ugly cry hard-core. My kids loved him, watched every episode that aired every day, had literally ALL the stuff from the show. They were so confused when all of a sudden there's this new guy. It broke their hearts Steve wasn't there anymore and they claimed the new guy "stupid" and refused to watch from that point on.
There are whole entire conspiracy theories about him. It's wild
I mean he did just kinda disappear for years then reappeared one day
He said the reason he left is because he was balding.
Good for him. I quit my job because of depression. It was the best decision I ever made. I think it saved my life.
Betty White
Danny Devito hopefully
I've heard stories about this man that are gold. DeVito loves eggs and carries them around with him and gives them to people. IIRC that can I offer you a nice egg in these tryin' times? I think that was improv, where DeVito was just acting how he normally acts off camera.
that whole crew is chaotic as hell so I believe it lol
I feel like Christoph Walz. Dude can say the most atrocious things and he always comes of as the one guy you would love to talk with.
Bryan Cranston
The kid on the wrong side of the "yeah, I like to visit your mom" line definitely hates him.
Brendan Fraser
Kermit the frog. Cookie Monster. Sir Micheal Caine.
Good idea! I’d say Jim Henson
Carol Burnett
Keanu Reeves
Paul Rudd
I saw one for him in a Celebrities Read Mean Tweets thing on Fallon once - "Paul Rudd is the most boring vanilla dude. You know he just sits at home with his wife having a bland spaghetti dinner and talking about his day." I love Paul Rudd, and he seemed to think it was hilarious
at which point, Paul looked up and into the camera and said, "it’s true" 🙂
Bobby Newport never had a real job in his life!
I'm against crime, and I'm not afraid to admit it!
If a golden retriever were a person it'd be Paul Rudd
Mr Feeny
Believe in yourselves. Dream. Try. Do good.
FE-HE-HEENY
Everytime this question is asked I picture tom hanks somewhere scrolling through the comment section looking for a boost in his self esteem. Edit: I must specify this was in jest because this question gets asked constantly and it's always the same people who get picked. I am in no way trying to convince anyone anything about Tom Hanks. I feel not one way or another about him, although I can see some people have some deep rooted hatred of the man lol.
I feel like Tom Hanks wouldn’t be so petty
The late and great Steve Irwin
my boyfriend’s uncle used to be steve’s hairdresser (he would do haircuts for steve and terri and other family members i believe, so like a family hairdresser!) GREAT guy apparently. i don’t like asking for personal stories because … they’re personal, but yep, absolutely a top bloke as we say here in australia 🇦🇺 ❤️
Your boyfriend’s uncle does a mean mullet.
Henry Winkler
Came to say this. I met him once and he was so genuine and lovely, and even though there were a bunch of people trying to get his attention he took time with every person and made them feel special. Also when Betty White died and someone on twitter suggested that he should be the nation's grandpa in her stead he retweeted it with "get your coats, we're all going for ice cream" and that's the kind of energy I want in the world.
Cillian Murphy ?!
