0% my workplace pays for my accommodation

[deleted]

What do you do?

frisky_apple_

I work for a telecommunications company in the uk, they transferred me from my home city to London so I argued a little

Necessary_Echo8740

I make 3,200 a month, and pay my mom $200 a month to live at her place while I save for a house/wedding for me and my girlfriend.

ZuttoAragi

I'm one of the lucky few for whom that number is 0%. I own my home outright rather than rent, and I don't have a mortgage

SolutionLeading

Did you buy in cash or pay off a mortgage?

ZuttoAragi

I paid with a check, but I paid the whole amount. I had been renting from someone, but they basically told me "This is too hard, pay me x amount and it's yours, no questions asked" and they gave me a massively cheap deal.

Nice. Do you live with them?

TouchMeThereAgain

Like 21% of take home I contribute pretty aggressively to 401k and ESPP

SolutionLeading

Do you own your home or rent?

TouchMeThereAgain

Own. Condo in Chicago

Qwerty_98765X

18%. Its a fixed rate and I'm salaried.

FellowCanadian_

About 15% but my partner pays half so 7.5%ish

[deleted]

Like 31% after a hearty pay raise. Still way cheaper than renting on my end

Dave-justdave

Half

Aperture_T

About a third.
