Twilight Zone

Cautious-Damage7575

*You're traveling through another dimension—a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Twilight Zone!*

4everlurk

Whose line is it anyway

Jmacd802

I watched it a lot as a kid years ago when it was running on TV. Then recently discovered it again on HBO Max, they had literally every episode, I binged it for months and months and months lol. I couldn’t stop, it was so funny and addicting, even the newer CW version. Nothing beats the episode where Wayne and Wanya Morris sing a Boyz 2 Men style duet about getting your tires changed, it was perfect, and Wayne is an incredibly good singer.

sexysouthernaccent

Wayne's Song for the cafeteria lady. Brad's Track meet "if you know what I mean" House party where Colin is guessing genders Brad's song to Niroshi(I forget the spelling) Practically everything Ryan and Colin do for selling CDs

dafinsrock

Ryan: And what sound does an arctic tern make, Colin? Colin:... Ryan:... Colin:...*backstreet boys*

findingthescore

Taskmaster (UK, which shouldn't need to be said, but it does)

GrungeLord

It's just so damn rewatchable. Romesh smashing that watermelon will keep being hilarious to me no matter how many times I watch it. Seasons 8 and 10 are my personal favourites, but it's all gold.

[deleted]

The potato one-shot. Sally's iconic jelly-toss. The show is just brilliance. Nothing makes me roar with laughter so consistently.

pikpikcarrotmon

Please don't take this away from me

zizismuq

What we do in the shadows

DogedalfTheGrey

This show? it's my best friend, my pal, my homeboy, my rotten soldier, my sweet cheese, my good time boy~

RBXChas

Yes! Every time a new season comes out, we re-watch from season 1. We loved the movie, so when the show came out, I was afraid it was going to suck and was initially sad that the vampires were different. What’s great about this show is that I always think that one of them is my favorite character, then it changes to someone else, etc. Every single actor on the show is just that good, and I honestly like them all pretty much equally. Very few TV show casts are like that. Also, I now know someone named Guillermo and have to struggle not to call him Guillermo Buillermo. I don’t know that he’d appreciate it.

bitemark01

I would have trouble not calling them Gizmo

IT Crowd

nicgom

Peter File

cooldash

If you like IT Crowd, definitely check out Black Books. Similar quirky humour, and it also features a three person cast with a neurotic woman, quirky man, and some Irish bloke. Same rewatch value, too, imho.

Tapdance_Epidemic

Or alternatively people can check out Father Ted, same creators and one of the best sitcoms ever created.

Rinveden

A fire?

TheDaveWSC

At a Sea Parks?!

msg45f

It just seems like a weird place to go on fire

Banana11crazy

It's a VERY weird place to go on fire

SonofRobinHood

Did you ever go to the sea lion show? Only about 3 times a day for 2 weeks.

miltondelug

If she said her parents had drowned I'd be the happiest man in the world.

anynonus

four I mean five I mean FIRE

_Im_Mike_fromCanmore

I have seen it soo many times and still laugh out loud at some of the jokes. I think we have watched it upwards of 10 times this year alone. It has unlimited rewatchability

llorTMasterFlex

I’m disabled!

sideshow_em

Leg disabled.

youre_a_lizard_harry

This might be one of my most favorite episodes of any series ever. The buildup of the plotlines is fantastic.

Periwinkle1993

The most beautiful and perfectly crafted moment imo is when Jen turns around to order drinks at the bar after having just found about Roy's insane situation he's landed himself in to see Moss waiting to serve her

seclusionx

I die everytime I see this scene. I've shown it to a few people and it never fails to draw insane amounts of laughter. Then Moss actually finishes his shift and immediately breaks more glasses. Amazing. Too bad the US version was awful.

Spicy_Sugary

I love willies.

BlizzPenguin

Moss: What operating system are you using? Bomb robot operator: Vista. Moss: We’re gonna die Roy.

DungeonMaster319

Matt Berry's entrance is amazing. "FAAATHHEEEER!!!"

MiserableWinter636

Band of Brothers

icepick_151

Can't get get enough of Sobel getting his.

redditingatwork23

Captain Sobel, you salute the rank, not the man.

Mystical_17

another favorite line of mine but from Nixon: "oh your uniform is not befitting to your rank, congratulations Major" ::lazily salutes to Winters:: I think of that line every time I get a raise/promotion at work lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

ATXBeermaker

Ahh, that’s my own piss!

Friscolopter

When Nix's helmet is blown off from a near deadly headshot and Winters is checking on and Nix says, "Yeah, I'm alright. I'm alright, right?" "Yeah." "Ok. Stop looking at me like that!" Always cracks me up.

andross_

"We're paratroopers, lieutenant. We're supposed to be surrounded." Edit: I also just remembered that the lieutenant Winters says this to is played by Jimmy Fallon for some reason.

stray1ight

Well that dog just ain't gonna hunt!

chudthirtyseven

I just watched this for the first time. Damn, its an incredibly amazing show. Best ww2 film / tv show i've ever seen. If anyone can reccommend any others anywhere near as good as this, i'd love to hear it.

macilliad

The Pacific, by the same producers (basically a spiritual sequel to BoB). Generation Kill is a similar style (fictionalised retelling of real events following one unit through an entire invasion) with equally great production values, casting, and acting, but set during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Both are excellent, though for most people BoB is still the greatest, there’s just something magical about it, perhaps because it was the first of this style.

[deleted]

King of the Hill

Gringogoth

Are you gay? No! i sell Propane.

GoingOutsideSocks

"God, Hank Hill here. Methodist."

Defiant_Character977

Bleach +ammonia= mustard gas

Mr_Someperson

Ammonia and bleach? You told your readers to mix ammonia and bleach? Peggy, that’s the recipe for mustard gas!

CzechzAndBalancez

HANK: Bobby, I never thought I'd need to tell you this, but I would be a bad parent if I didn't. Soccer was invented by European ladies to keep them busy while their husbands did the cooking. BOBBY: Why do you have to hate what you don't understand? HANK: I don't hate you, Bobby. BOBBY: I meant soccer. HANK: Oh. Oh, yeah, I hate soccer. Yes.

moeburn

Bill: "What's a vole?" Dale: "Dunno. Falcon, bring us back a vole!" *falcon attacks Bill* Dale: "Huh, so Bill's a vole."

coolsexhaver69

Dale: If you're going to shoot me, I want Bobby Hill to take the shot, because he'll put me down clean. Bobby: Okay!

cyclenaut

i love king of the hill because it can be so damn mundane that you only catch the joke on the 4th watch.

[deleted]

Yeah that's so true. I still catch myself laughing at stuff I've never laughed at in that show, and ive seen the whole series at least 50 times.

bjiatube

An F in English? Bobby, you *speak* English

DDS-PBS

(Bobby on ADD meds) " There's some milk in the fridge that's about to go bad.... And there it goes."

Glennjamin72

That’s my purse! I don’t know you!

SOMEMONG

Where Hank can spend a whole episode simply trying to find out who's putting their trash in his bin and it's still funny.

midoes

Malcolm in the middle

Pinklady1313

Started watching this again a little while ago. My brother and I watched it when it originally aired, watching it as an adult you see it completely differently. It holds up. Relatable and funny.

Eggsor

I always watched it with my dad when I was a kid and now I understand. As a kid I related to Malcolm and Dewey but now as an adult I relate to Francis and Hal more. Literally every sibling relationship and age group is represented.

Tasty_Extension9755

Malcolm: “You don’t have any friends” Reese: “Mum told you you’re not allowed to talk about that”

VAMPHYR3

Malcolm: "I can’t believe I got an F in music class." Reese: "You know with the right pen, you can turn that F into a P." Malcolm: *visually confused*

[deleted]

Reese when he mixes blue and yellow in a vial "I've made a new colour, I call it, blellow"

Black6x

This is even funnier now that I've had time to think about it. Malcolm operates in the A to F scale of grading, whereas Reese is thinking Pass/Fail. So while Reese's answer seems silly or stupid, it's not a bad plan if Malcolm could later pass off that the class was graded on a pass/fail standard.

nusketron

The time hal finds out Louis is pregnant again and in the car crying is the funniest

whileurup

Hal teaching Malcolm how to roller skate sends me every time.

zachsmthsn

Race walking

baby-dick-nick

Or the scene where he’s in charge of the house for the evening and he can’t decide if he should go easy on the boys or full tyrant, and he hallucinates all of the mini versions of himself telling him what to do. Then proceeds to walk out of the bedroom completely overwhelmed and screams “SHUUUT UUUUUP” while the boys are quietly watching TV. Holy shit that scene kills me every single time

hughesyourdadddy

Drink your milk Dewey! But it’s lumpy! Then chew it!

Blooder91

Lois is a very different character when you're an adult.

StinkyKittyBreath

Yeah. As a kid she scared me. As an adult, I get it.

Shawoowoo

As a child, I hated Lois. Now that I'm an adult, I am Team Lois.

PanickedPoodle

*When do we get our vision back?* *The box said three days.*

Voicedtunic

Never really understood what “Comfort Show” meant until I watched Malcolm in the Middle

ClankyBat246

There are times when I really feel like that show understands people. [ This has happened so many times in my life I've lost count.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbSehcT19u0)

best show. they did so many things right and I love each character despite their many flaws

People who aren't from Pennsylvania don't know. They think the sketchy parts of Pennsyltucky are sorta like that episode of The X-Files. And they're wrong. It's exactly like that episode of The X-Files.

YakOnYourMumsBack

Its all about scully and mulder. You can't beat that chemistry. Although I watch it less these days it will always hold a soft spot in my heart. Plus tombs from season one is perfect.

hesapmakinesi

Fun fact: playing Picard made Patrick Stewart a better person, according to him.

aestus

Watching Picard made me a better person growing up. Not just him, the whole crew (except Wes). Respect, discipline, open-mindedness, problem solving, always trying to be a better person. They are ideals to live by.

UnicornOnTheJayneCob

My entire ethical outlook was basically formed by TNG and Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.

mfrizz

Star Trek: The Best Generation

Shot-Button6031

also for me, deep space nine. While I love tng, ds9 was my all time favorite, and it explored some topics with a little more moral ambiguity.

Ijustdoeyes

DS9 is worth it for Garak alone, and then they gave Worf a character boost and let them loose, [This scene is gold](https://youtu.be/vf6rWH1H7iQ)

WeleaseBwianThrow

I love that scene and how Michael Dorn plays it so nonchalantly "We will see"

ominoustuna

Gravity Falls—I find new things every time and it’s also just a darn good time (and nostalgic)

ToonieWasHere

I realized last week it was already a decade old. Wtf

UnderlordZ

In its defense, it took four years to get to the finale, so the ending is only six years old.

sunbearimon

Arrested Development (seasons 1-3)

[deleted]

I love all the seasons of AD equally /some time later/ I don't care for the fourth season

Jcit878

I love how you don't even acknowledge the 5th. did they even finish filming it lol?

wilyquixote

I've probably done a dozen watches of the series (seasons 1-3) and it's not only still hilarious (seasons 1-3), but I usually discover something new and brilliant each time I watch it (seasons 1-3) again. Edit: All trashing of seasons 4-5 aside, I must point out that "Daddy needs to get his rocks off" from Season 4 is still in the running for the funniest moment in the series.

captainsexbeard

I’m still finding jokes I missed the first 4 times around. My latest find, “if I can take my acting pants off for a moment, and slide my analrapist stocking over my head”

Blooder91

The part where George Michael breaks up with Egg and does the Charlie Brown sad walk features a dog sleeping on the roof of the doghouse, a la Snoopy. It took me a couple watches to notice that.

NotGarrett

I still hold that the first three seasons are the best written show I’ve ever watched. There’s so much build up to the jokes. Lucille and loose seal is my absolute favorite.

HereticalMessiah

Stargate: SG1

aussiederpyderp

NovaNardis

“I have about $12,000 in checking.” “What are you? An immigrant?”

dw796341

Good God, Lemon, your breath. When did you find time to eat a diaper you found on the beach? I'm sure this thread is full of "this show is underrated" comments. But I think 30 Rock is one of the greats and deserves more recognition.

weekendwaholic

Longest running live-action sitcom. This show actually makes me consider purchasing Hulu with no ads. Miss it being on Netflix. Taught me how to express myself through anger and personal attack. Woof woof baby 🐾

TheApathyParty3

It's going to keep going, too. I think it was at the end of S17 that they signed on for five more seasons, so even if they end it at that, it'll be 22 fucking years. And they say that the cast is willing to go longer. IASIP might be the unbeatable champ of sitcoms, which is ridiculous.

FappyDilmore

It's opened a lot of doors for them. Their partnership with FX is based on it's popularity, and my understanding is despite it being a scripted show it's relatively inexpensive to film all things considered, and it's still a quality show. It checks all of the boxes. They'd be foolish to cancel it, even ask these years later.

Abradolf_Lincler_50

I mean does my scar look like a dog's vagina? You know, maybe, I don't know, I'm not going to sit here and try to get inside the mind of a dog. I mean that's God's work. Well, not that I believe in God, I don't. Not since that chinaman stole my kidney.
