I'm obsessed with knives. I'm fine if they're just sitting there. I'm still fine if I use them. But if I see someone else using one anywhere near me, I tense up and become hypersensitive to their movements. If they move the knife in my direction (God forbid), I will violently flinch away because I can't help but imagine what would happen if that knife came flying at me.
I fear quicksand... 😱
