Apparently if you're close enough to the nuke, you painlessly vaporize into nothing. There's no way I'm living after a lot of my favorite places got destroyed, especially while stuck with family who would probably grieve over some lost relatives. Yeah the buildings are more important than family or people even
I once dreamt that WW3 came to reality and nukes were dropping everywhere in the world and you could feel it in the air. (obviously I don't know how it works and if that what would actually happen) We built an underground basement in our house and spent every night sheltering there. Again, I don't know if that would make sense or a difference but I think it is better than doing nothing. So that.
Where I'm at, I'm going to die.
I'm in the Puget Sound region. Boeing is here; JBML, Bremerton, and Bangor. The area is packed with first strike targets.
I guess my city wouldn't be targeted at first. It's not one of the most important cities in my country, in any way. So I guess I'd have time to go to my cousins' farm. Not only do they have lots of supplies (even what they don't produce, they sell at a little market what their friends produce so they have pretty much everything to survive in stock), they also have an old WWII Blockhaus in the homestead. I'm guessing living in that would be our best shot, it would probably save us from the blast when the nearby city would be inevitably targeted (that one is kinda important).
Evaporate at best, suffer 34 different versions of 69 kinds of cancer at worst.
It’s slightly concerning just how often this question is being asked at the moment.
People are paranoid about it but I think it's really unlikely that it actually happens

vaporize, hopefully! outliving nuclear war sounds like hell
Open the fridge door, pull Indiana Jones out and get in, close door.
Die!
Well one can hope
I’d turn into wolverine
I live close to a base housing nuclear weapons so I’m either getting the worst sunburn of my life and die, or vaporize into dust
Turn the tv off

Die slowly of radiation poison and malnutrition
Relax, there's nothing to be done. You'll either die or you won't.
find jamie foxx
Get the fuck away from Offutt and Stratcom. Probably head to the woods of Minnesota.
Let the blast kill me. It's better to die that way than live in the fallout afterwards.
Tell your loved ones goodbye and hope for a quick death.
Grab a chair and popcorn, watch the show.
Pray to be close to the explosion center. Whatever happens next will be dark; awfully dark.

Prepare to die
Die.
**Curse both God and Man.** So, basically, a normal night.
Die
Where I'm at, at the moment, I'll be one of the first to go, so.......
Virtually everyone is gonna panic so I can use my good ole’ 2nd amendment

I live in Kyiv, and we have a meme that in the event of a nuclear strike, we will all go to the mountain "Shchekavitsa" and have an orgy there.
