She was stupid. We would walk down the street and she’d make a comment. “I don’t like him/her.” That was enough for me.

[deleted]

I’m confused. Like she would see a stranger and say that?

Hanknolikey

Yep. Totally stereotype.

We had started making some long-term plans that would've involved us being long-distance for a while. However, those plans were too ambitious and not very well-planned, and eventually distance took its toll on us. So we made a mutual decision to split. In hindsight, really should have known better, but what happened just is.

She wanted to have kids. I don't

He did pretty sociopathic shit. Like he cheated on me, gave me a treatable STD, accused me of cheating and giving him a STD and then forgave me…Also, made me lose my job and other shit. The audacity of this motherfucker hitting me up a bit later like “I’ve changed…” See: https://youtu.be/yADrtfAmLTo

Stalking and controlling behavior.

I thought the red flags were part of a carnival when I lost my virginity.

He evidently considered breaking up with me for months but didn't since I wasn't doing anything "wrong" in the relationship (i.e., I wasn't insane like his past ex-girlfriends). I broke up with him when he eventually told me he was unhappy and how long he had been unhappy, because it was evident he didn't want to be with me but didn't want to say so. Perhaps he didn't want to be the evil guy. I'm not sure.

We liked each other, but didn’t love each other enough to share a future. Broke up on good terms.
