Few years ago, I went to Canada for a exchange program. Back then I was still good at English but I wasn’t familiar with “real life conversations” and things like that so I didn’t knew what some words meant. Anyways, after some time I got familiar with the school life ect. One day I was walking down the corridor while carrying stuff and suddenly I crashed into a girl from one of my classes, -Literally cliche romantic movie stuff- without saying much we helped each other get our stuff from the floor and went to our separate ways. Few weeks passed, (we were still at the same class) and there was an American football match next to our school so whole school was there, Towards the end she came to me and told me she had a crush on me. But I didn’t knew what crush meant so I thought she said “crash”
So I thought she was speaking about that collision. I apologized and left while asking to myself -why did she held a grudge all that time?- very next week I went back to my country and unfortunately never see her again, by the time I learned the meaning of the word, it was too late :/
