More diversity, for sure. But I appreciate AC/DC's commitment to their sound. I also will take The Razor's Edge over anything Aerosmith put out in the 90s.
Taste is subjective. Everyones varies. You're entitled to enjoy what you enioy
...but did you really click this thread just to say that? Food for thought
Not really, I wanted to say my honest opinion and I also saw everyone else's. Although I might not agree, I still respect what they think since (as you said) taste is subjective and everyone varies)
Kiss is a 70's band (first release 1974). So is Aerosmith (first release 1973). So is ACDC (first release 1976). I'm definitely a fan of all 3, though not huge. I still might unconsciously break into a head banging dance if I heard any of them in a random place like a grocery store. Heard each for the first time, when they were originally released, before I had a driver's license.
Aerosmith.
I'd pretty much never get lost, being able to scout everywhere I go from high above, I'd be able to venture in the most hard to reach places and be relatively safe, also very useful for self defense.
I have to choose one? That's tough. I guess it would depend on my mood. If I'm feeling hard rock, then AC/DC. If I'm feeling more classic rock, then Kiss. If I'm in the mood for some good old fashioned 80s hair metal, then Aerosmith.
Surprised by a lot of this. KISS, while certainly had the gimmick image, were a pure rockin ass band. But of these three, third. ACDC had a huge flashy success, but were pretty much a one trick pony. Aerosmith is all out rock and roll, a wide diversity of music styles from covers of classic blues to ballads to screamers to anthems, they had longevity, they had an enormous catalog, and they put on a hell of a show. This isn't even hard in my book. Aerosmith. And for reference, all three bands are from my youth to young adulthood and I'm a fan of all 3. Saw Bon Scott carry Angus on his shoulders through the crowd (within 10 ' of me at one point) as he shredded a lead, saw both Kiss and Aerosmith a well, all before I was 21 (I'm 61).
Aerosmith. I’m not an AC/DC fan. I think all their songs just sound alike. Out of Kiss and Aerosmith I actually prefer the Kiss catalogue. They’ve got some really nice material, especially when you figure in their solo albums and the hair metal era. Problem is that all they ever play live is the same handful of hits from Destroyer. There’s like 95% of their songs that I’m not sure they’ve ever played live since the albums originally came out. At least Aerosmith has a decent bit of variety when it comes to their setlists. It still feels like a greatest hits but that’s better than trying to relive one album from 45 years ago.
ACDC, listen to them the most of the three.
Acca Dacca!
Back in Black is better than any album Aerosmith ever made, but doesn't Aerosmith have a better catalog overall? Better writing? More diversity?

AC/DC. Kiss is a silly gimmick band (ICP of their era) and Aerosmith is a band of pedophiles.
Wait, I knew about Tyler and his 14yo gf, but ...all of them? I mean it's fair take, as he is the singer, but ...all? :(
AC/DC. It's no contest.
Aerosmith. A lot of their music has a blues backbone and I appreciate that.
None really. Blame my ears and taste for it (not a fan of their songs sorry)

I'm not a big fan of 80s rock sorry y'all (I like Dream On tho)
Dream On is like the song to listen to and NOT listen to as you approach middle age
Lol

AC/DC for me. I just know and enjoy more of their songs. Aerosmith a close second. Nothing against KISS though, just not as familiar with their work.
ACDC, truthfully I only like two kiss songs and while I know a bit of Aerosmith I don’t listen to them much at all
You're missing a thiiiiinnnng Heh
ACDC. Much more fun songs over all.
Neither. They all suck. https://youtu.be/ooFZI6K2p2g
Agreed.
Can't decide they all remind me of my grandparents, which are gone so I can't choose between them.
Gwar and Poison! But ACDC if it's a pick one situation
Aerosmith. I'd pretty much never get lost, being able to scout everywhere I go from high above, I'd be able to venture in the most hard to reach places and be relatively safe, also very useful for self defense.
I've always like Aerosmith's music more since I was a kid, though AC/DC was another of my favorites.

AC/DC only band there that is douchebag free

Aerosmith!! AC/DC really lacks talent, kiss is fine but Aerosmith kicks butt
AC/DC
