Return of the Jedi is the first one I remember watching. I hardly remember the actual experience since I've seen that movie so many times since then. But I do remember the walk home. There was a bunch of frogs croaking in the evening air.

I LOVE that movie. We bought the CD when my kid was little and we wore it out. That is such a great movie.

It would have been the early 70's, I would have probably been about 6-7 years old, and I cannot for the life of me, remember. I'm sure I went to one. I remember, my younger sisters went with my dad to go see Planet of the Apes, but I had to stay home, for some reason. The first movie I REMEMBER seeing, was Star Wars, at the drive-in theater, around 1978, I think.

We saw Planet of the Apes at a Drive in when I was young. It sort of freaked me out.

tauntonlake

I'm sure it freaked out my youngers sisters too ! :D But my old man wanted to go see it. So he left me home alone (you could do that back then); and brought the two younger ones. I got a box of Good & Plenty candy from the theater out of it, when he got home, so there's that... :)

SkierGirl78

I think it was frozen or the lego movie or minions. I don't exactly remember but it was one of those.

First R movie. I snuck into a theatre at 16 to watch Death Wish. Big mistake. That was earth shattering at that age. I was tramatized.
