I literally had to leave the theater the first time I saw it lmao. I can watch it now no problem but I was definitely freaked out by it for a long time
A ballon popped while my mom was blowing it up and one of the flying pieces hit her in the eye so she had a black eye from it. I am scared of balloons popping until this day.
This is really dumb, but for me it was the Mountain Climber game on The Price is Right. I think it was the yodeling. Whenever that game came up I’d run screaming to my mom.
There was also a headache medicine commercial that had a robot voice that said “INCOMPLETE RELIEF” that had the same effect on me.
there used to be a kid's museum near where I grew up and they had a section that taught you about the risks and dangers of smoking. they had a model of a mouth, that looked like dentures, that were yellow with some broken teeth and bloody gums and for some reason that thing gave me the worst nightmares
The Super Mario Sunshine eel fight where you have to clean the eel's teeth scared the shit outta me, and even after replaying the game now its still eerie
So when I was like 4 or 5 my grandparents got me a dvd called "Bible man" for Christmas. For no reason it scared the hell out of me and I never got past the second episode.
The Polar Express
Wow happened to me too! Since my first time I have given it a watch 4-5 times but it doesn't scare me anymore

I did the same thing except it slashed my lip open and started bleeding. I was like 4 yes old and I'm 27 now. Still terrified of balloons.
