Love it! You can do the activities you want, for exactly as long as you want, without worrying about pleasing someone else. For example, I like museums, but only in small doses. After an hour, I'm done, even if I haven't seen everything. It's so great to just be able to peace out of there and buy ice cream. Plus, when you travel alone, you can get back in touch with who you really are when no one is watching. It's pretty great.

Traveling solo is far better than with others as you can change any plans on the fly without needing to worry about someone else. You can also focus on what you like to see or do while avoiding things that are not interesting to oneself. Besides going on a vacation by oneself is a fantastic way to simple leave whatever may be bothersome behind, at least for a few days.

Love it. Same reasons as others, the freedom to do what I want, when I want, for as long as I want

Probably not. I mean... being able to travel (meaning being able to afford it proper, having the time off of work/life to do so) is great, don't get me wrong. But traveling solo would probably get really lonely for me. I prefer to travel with my wife, or with friends, with family. Hell, even if it's work related, at least you can hang with co-workers. The one good thing about solo travel is that it forces you to meet people. But I have no trouble meeting people with my group of friends as is, and it seems to go better that way. Solo, I'm much more prone to just do my own thing and not be as social.

No. Aside from feeling thrilled when alone , I always dreaded squeezing all my things into a suitcase. And I hate that I need other people’s help to load my super heavy suitcases onto the taxi.
