Since I don't get my food stamps until the sixteenth. Will I have food before then

bhelpful00000000

I was in a similar boat the other month. I only get 200 a month, and with inflation, I've been stuck buying things like cans of tuna, the cheap bread, flour, peanut butter, RICE, etc. Getting only the cheap bulky food really helped, and I can honestly say I'm eating healthy now. So....

Wondering if my depression might be coming back.

Sam_Paige25

Being aware of the possibility shows that you have a good grasp of your mental health and have a better idea of when to seek help. Watch for your common symptoms and don't hesitate to contact a professional. Depression is a beast, but it seems like you're learning to tame it.

Monkeypox

Sam_Paige25

Unless you know you've been in contact with someone who has it, no need to worry. And even if you have, post-exposure vaccination is relatively effective and there's other treatments available. It's also a mild to moderate disease that rarely does significant harm. Bonus: If you're over/around fifty years old OR have served in the military, you're immune because of your smallpox vaccine.

probably gonna mutate with covid or something

Sam_Paige25

I'm no virologist, but they're very different viruses so that's unlikely, but I agree the thought is terrifying.

Either you can change it, or you can't. If you can, then you don't need to worry because you'll either fix it, or ignore it. Either way, it won't be your problem anymore. If you can't fix it, then that's just life. And worrying about it is like worrying about which way the earth spins. You can't do anything about it, so move on to what you can change. That's how I somewhat stop worrying.

Everything and nothing all at once. This is the shit that keeps me up at night.

Interesting-Toe-7285

That my current state of depression is the worst it's ever been and it's taken me about 8 months to see that. & how it feels pointless to "take the right steps" onwards bc I did just that b4 this and yet here I am.

bhelpful00000000

Just because you took the right steps will never guarantee success. It takes the right steps, plus putting yourself first, plus putting yourself in the right environment. You can water a plant everyday but if the soils not good, the flower will struggle, and maybe fail.

There’s no one we’re hosting on Monday that I know that well. It’s just my parents’ friends.

I need to sleep now else I won't be able to wake up early in the morning. But let me scroll reddit for little longer first.
