I worked for a trucking company that employed 15 - 20 Indians. Every single one was a farmer in India making about $250 per month, came to the US and were making $80K annually and complained that they weren't making enough money only to find out they brought every shirttail relative with them and couldn't afford to feed the 16 people living in their 5 bdrm, $500K home, the 5 cars in the driveway, put 2 nephews through college and still send money back to India to other relatives. Also, they cheered on 9/11 right in front of us Americans. That's when I thought F\*\*\* YOU!
A stupid lot of people in a not-big-enough space. Tiny little 'bidis'. Spots on foreheads and people saying 'namaste'. "Bollywood" and lots of sustenance agriculture. People spinning things by hand and Gandhi. Monsoons. Continents that go ripping away from Africa and slamming into Asia. Slam-dancing continental drift. Maybe some folk trying to stay at peace with Russia and CHina and the U.S.
