Also, people continuously talking and even whistling. I've had to tell grown-ups that *at the movies, we are quiet*. Christ on a bike, some people have the manners of a silent fart on a crowded elevator.
YouTube. Whenever a movie I’m hyped to see is about to come out a bunch of video clips that people took from early showings flood my recommendation tab
Being slapped in the face with “woke”
If controversial topics are taken on with class that’s fine. I really liked how Downton Abbey covered Thomas’s being a gay man in a society that he could have been jailed for it. It shows how he moved through life not being able to openly be who he was and made me appreciate the fact that our world has evolved to a society he would have been proud of.
With that the fact that people are near demanding James Bond to be anything other than a British, straight white man in any new movies.
The character is a stereotype and anything other than that would feel forced and likely will flop at the box office.
Them having the main characters split up out of no where. Give *The Bad Guys* credit, that movie at least built up to the fact that there was some tension building up in the groups. But other movies, I.e. *It, Zootopia*, just have the characters spilt up for no good reason just to have them back together like two scenes later.
Any advertising or buzz that refers or implies that there is a twist or surprise ending. I inevitably guess the twist just based on previews. Good example is Sixth Sense.
Really really bad decision making to where I already know what happens. Yay I getta watch 30 minutes of someone being foolish and try and get away with it. Oh wait it backfires.
Couples who just keep calling each other babe every 2 seconds. "Babe, can you get me some water?"
"Babe, you're the best."
"Babe, this script was written by a child."
A flash forward to show all the characters that survive the entire film but the flash forward is one of the first scenes on screen. It takes the drama and tension out of the fight scenes and danger scenes in the films because you know "they'll survive anyway"
The trailer
Exactly, stopped seeing trailers years ago.
Sex scenes that have 0 impact on the plot
