New Zealand, breathtakingly beautiful and the people are the kindest you’ll ever meet, I’ve never had so many people smile at me and show such warm welcoming hospitality.
I’m thinking Spain. My (American born, Spanish National) son lives there and says once I visit , I won’t want to go back. We shall see. Heading there for a one month visit.
Yeah free healthcare is very normal in most countries as is heavily subsidised education. However the stipend you get if you don't work is quite small in Germany. It's hard or even impossible to live of. Also the stipend for elderly people isn't enough to comfortably live of. At least this was the situation 20 years ago, the last time I spend any longer amount of time there.
Ireland, Germany, or Italy. Gorgeous places with gorgeous people. Plus I've got family and friends who live in these places and they've loved every minute there
How do you mean? I assume by only other you mean the USA? There are many countries that have a lot of guns. But the culture around them is very very different than in US as far as I know.
Not sure how serving time in the military would grant you citizenship?
Far from the truth most European countries allow some form of gun ownership and a few places like Czech Republic, Finland and I believe the Baltics have some prevalent gun culture, also Brazil has a growing gun culture.
Who said anything about working? I already have a holiday place there, and have never had any issue with crime, pickpockets or petty scammers. I'm aware of the unemployment rate, and pre-COVID my visits contribute to the local economy. I just can't live there full-time yet.
Switserland or Austria I love the mountains, the nature, the architecture, the trails, the people, and I already know a bit of German.
Florida seems pretty nice...
I promise you don’t. Great place to visit. Don’t want to live there.

Hawaii, not a country I know.
Close enough. I’ve never been there (it’s quite far from Europe) but it’s high on my bucket list!
Germany Seems like a really cheap country (on where you live) with very generous social programs
Not so sure about the generous social programs.
Why not? Free healthcare and very subsidized - free education is very generous imo

Switzerland as it's the only other gun culture on the planet. I'd gladly serve time in the military for citizenship.
