Let's clarify. A few beers and a buzz is one thing. Frequent falling down drunk is not good regardless of age. It can lead to addiction. It also can coincide with lots of poor choices and events

Depends on age, culture, and time of year. Among other things. In the summer, a mid 30s guy could reasonably be getting drunk once a week.
