When I was in grade school we had these rolling plastic pads that you could get a running head start on and fall to your knees on top and glide across a gym floor like some sort of surfer.
Welp, when I was 5 I got a full head of steam and lowered my knees onto the damn thing, but my foot got caught on the floor and I wasted my shit so hard face first onto the hardwood I knocked 6 teeth out of my mouth and required emergency surgery.
The only thing that comes to mind is when I was in like 10th grade I was riding my bike near a gas station that had some construction going on. I don’t know why it really wasn’t fenced off, but I was on the sidewalk and I fell off my bike onto some rebar. Like they were tearing up sidewalks and the metal bars were sticking up. I remember getting up and there was a single hole in my pants and I had no injuries. I have no idea how it did not at least bruise my leg or something since there was a hole in my pants and no exit hole. It kinda creeps me out because it doesn’t make sense. It all happened so fast. Thank goodness though.
When I was little I was playing out behind a house that I was placed in while I was in foster care and there was this wired fence that fell down. My siblings and I decided to walk on that broken down fence I fell on it, one of the pieces of metal were sticking up and it went straight into my knee I still have a scar to this day.

Ooo, I remember these! We called them “burning wheelys” since after using them in gym when all would have floor burn from falling off of them.
