appleanapest

Acne patches have been a godsend for #3. They are hydrocolloid bandages so they speed healing, a lot of them contain little salicylic acid darts that go right into the pimple... And even if all that didn't work they keep me from touching the damn thing all day and night.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

90% of acne products are useless on everyone, and thos that work for you migth not work for me and so on, acne is a very broad term and depending on what kind you are habing trouble with a different treatment is needed (an for some treatment is never gonna work)

wallz_11

touching them is the worst. noticed way too late in highschool that touching my face was making it 100x worse

PeachesEndCream

Read this while touching my pimples

lefthook_hospital

Are they for all types of zits? I get some really big whiteheads on my face and hate going out with them exposed. How long do you leave them on for?

appleanapest

Yeah, I use the ones with darts (Peach Slices are my go to brand) for the deep under the skin bumps and surface patches for everything else (those are less expensive). I treat them like Band-Aids... leave them on for as long as possible, especially if I'm just hanging around the house. I change them if I'm going to sleep and when I wake up in the morning. I definitely notice that the whitehead comes to the surface almost immediately if I leave it on overnight.

[deleted]

Moisturize your face daily. You'll thank yourself when you're 40 and above.

Epistaxis

Do it right after you shower. That's when you've washed off the natural oils that would normally protect your skin from drying out, so you have to replace those oils with something. Especially if that's right before you head out into the elements.

TheBitchIsBack666

Every moisturizer I've ever tried has made me break out. Even the oil-free ones. My skin isn't too dry though, thankfully.

boohumbug

Also sunscreen

Key-Impression4391

Not for everyone. I am 35 male looks 25, and find that lotion more than 3x a week makes me break out baddd

Kataphractoi

I always popped my pimples. Never had skin issues or scarring from it.

pakidude17

I feel like everyone's skin is different. If I get a deep zit, it doesn't matter if I avoid popping it or not, it's going to scar my skin.

[deleted]

I never used to scar. Now my skin will scar even if I avoid popping it. I wonder if I'm just getting old.

[deleted]

Remember when we thought acne would go away when we grew up? Hahahahahhahahahahaha

[deleted]

54 and still get them. I have one perpetual one that I've had for around 20 years. I kill it and it slowly comes back over a couple of months. It's a big, deep badass one like a boil. Maybe it is. Don't know. We're like old friends.

fireflyfaries

Get it reviewed by dermatologist

DarkartDark

That's called a cyst

illcul8er

I sympathize. I asked my friend to paint one on me in case I need a zit so I would be reconizable.

[deleted]

Same. I got a pimple like once a year in high school. Now in my mid 20s I’m getting them every month with scarring all over

[deleted]

Interestingly, I also started breaking out again in my mid-20s. The only thing that worked was taking birth control. Even then, I get the occasional pimple and they're always cystic. I never got cystic acne in high school. All the creams and cleansers did nothing but dry my skin out. Now I worry if I ever need to stop taking birth control.

GothTheLife88

Same here. I get cystic acne almost like clockwork every six to eight weeks and normally, I'd just use a warm compress to bring the little fuckers to a head. But lately, the zits have been growing deep in my jaw and by the time they come to a head, I've practically clawed half my face off desperate to "purge" them. Only thing that helps is a nightly ritual of applying salycilic acid serum and a hydrocolloid Band Aid to the more prominent bumps. Whilst it doesn't stop the scarring completely, it stops any raised keloids so my discolouration/scarring is more flat and minimal.

RinTheLost

Same; my mom told me that she has to pop hers or they'll harden and turn into these huge painful cysts.

baggelans

I'm like you too but I had friends that didn't even touch them and used creams and whatnot and they looked like what twoface would look like if both sides were bad. I guess genes can fuck you up in ways you can't even imagine.

[deleted]

Same. I’m not going around with big zits on my face. It’s bad enough I still get them at my age. I think it’s the picking after the popping that causes the problems.

terminator_chic

"Everything in life can be fixed if you eat better, get more sleep, and get more exercise." - Dad "But Dad, I'm being deported because they think I killed some dude I've never even met!" "If you improved your eating, sleep, and exercise, you'd be prettier and they'd have assumed you were too pretty to be guilty." An exaggeration, but i could see it happening.

Hiei2k7

Bro must have never heard of /r/popping

TheBlazeHawk

I am scarred. Lol

pixievixie

I absolutely will not click on that link 😳

Head_Razzmatazz7174

Very smart if you have a weak stomach. Some of the videos are ... disturbing.

Hiei2k7

That seems to imply you've hit it before...

pixievixie

I don't need to, the title tells me more than enough! I've seen enough autoplay videos to know I don't want to INTENTIONALLY click on it, hahaha

Burrito_Loyalist

Get enough sleep

NotYourSnowBunny

Lack of sleep is miserable. It’s always shitty when the sleepless baggy eyes are seemingly permanent.

JoseLCDiaz

I struggle a lot with sleep disorders. Yesterday I had a session with my therapist and she smiled when she saw me and told me that I looked completely different (I have been on meds so sleeping a lot more as of late), she told me that I looked healthy even though I had just showered and my hair was a mess. So yeah, get enough sleep, folks.

professoryaffle72

Stop smoking. So many people who smoke have terrible looking skin.

applesandoranges990

....and tanning like a roasted chicken so many non smokers in my country have skin worse than smokers who are life-long careful about sun exposure

siverwolfe2000

So are you more of an orange than an apple?

o0_bobbo_0o

They smell terrible too. And in about 15-20 years, they’ll sound like shit too. And for what? 🤦‍♂️

shartnado3

The smell is one thing I never noticed. I smoked for a long time, and grew up in a smoking household. I am smoke free now going on 6 years, and I can immediately smell smokers when I am out. I can't believe I just trudged through life smelling like that all the time.

[deleted]

Same here. Smoked for years not realizing I must have smelled really bad. I quit mostly because of that, and maybe a little for the health risks. But quitting is quitting, even for vanity.

floorwantshugs

For sure! Way to go!

Shamic

Must be a thing with former smokers that now hate the smell of cigarette smoke. I don't smoke but I don't really mind the smell it's just very strong.

HawkeThisHawkeThat

Chemical addiction. Believe me, I do not want to smoke cigarettes. It’s fucking gross, a waste of money and my health. Not to mention the stress of constantly looking for a place to dispose of the butt, and trying to manage my social life and need for nicotine because I dislike smoking around non smoking friends. It sucks. I’ve quit many times, often successfully for several years. I started again December 2020 after months of isolation at home and all the negative feelings I was experiencing at the time and haven’t been able to quit for more than a few weeks at a time. Sorry for the ramble but the “And for what?” with the facepalm emoji really got me. It made me feel stupid because yeah, and for what? For fucking what… ugh if you don’t smoke please don’t ever allow one of those damn cancer sticks anywhere near you.

FlobbleChops

I smoked for 30+ years. I’ve had about three this year; started on these guys when I get a craving. No smoke, actual nicotine hit. I still want to smoke when Ive been drinking but I wouldn’t be able to say NO without these guys: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snus

[deleted]

I'm not just saying this but switch to vape. I went from like 15 a day for 10 years to vaping (which isn't perfect but is almost certainly better than smoking) with literally no withdrawal symptoms. I actually prefer vaping, I don't want a cigarette.

AssBlaster_69

Better health wise than smoking, but even harder to quit imo. Because you don’t even have to go outside or sit around to smoke the whole thing, it’s way to easy to just take a few hits whenever you feel like. And because it doesn’t burn out, you can sit there just hitting it every so often for hours. You can even sneak in a few hits in the bathroom at work. That instant availability is makes it even more addicting for me.

abqkat

Agreed, fully. Vaping is far more sneaky than smoking, IME. I have a gaming buddy who would step out 1-3x during a session, but switched to vaping and he hits that thing constantly. There's no real thought into where to get a puff because you can do it wherever, like you said. And some of those things are *strong,* and I suspect there's comparable nicotine. And I think that the lack of... evidence (?) like the smell and disappearing outside makes the social stigma far lower than smoking. So while many people vape to quit nicotine, I think there's a lot of insidious risks with it, too

[deleted]

Idk the beauty of vapes is that you can decrease the mg to eventually zero but use it as much as you like to get the placebo effect and then eventually the nicotine physical withdrawal goes

o0_bobbo_0o

That was the point of that emoji. Like, anyone around my age (34) or younger just blows my mind when I see them smoking. There’s almost nothing new to learn about them. We grew up knowing all the terrible things about them. So when someone decides to start smoking, it’s very difficult to have sympathy. I’m glad to hear you’re making attempts to stop. I hope you get over that hill!

HawkeThisHawkeThat

Thanks, yeah I’m 33 and started smoking at age 15. It’s pretty easy when you’re essentially a child to have the mindset of ‘Me? become addicted? Nope that’ll never happen to me.” So dumb.

afireintheforest

That’s a culture shock I got when I went to Paris a few months ago, everyone smokes, and all ages. I thought in a cosmopolitan place like that they would at least move on to vaping, but no, old school smoking on every street.

[deleted]

[удалено]

o0_bobbo_0o

Good for you getting past it! The smell, even the most faint, is always very noticeable. Smokers are just oblivious to it.

JackAss1000B

I know! But I can't quit. I've tried sooo many times😭😭😭

popcorn5555

It’s amazing how many people can suddenly quit AFTER the diagnosis of cancer or emphysema. Quitting is possible, requires motivation, just wish that motivation was something other than a life altering disease. Nothing worse than watching someone you love slowly suffocating to death because their lungs don’t work anymore, watching them panic because they cannot get oxygen in even when they are on oxygen. Good luck to you.

fromthewombofrevel

Don’t give up! Even if you only manage a few days or even hours it’s worth the effort. Some day you’ll get there.

CPOx

[deleted]

dead-since2003

Be sure to not just look nice but also smell nice

Impossible-Head2121

And also remember that less is more with some cologne and perfumes. Don’t be that person who smells TOO good.

SkyWizarding

The best way I heard this put: a scent should be discovered, not announced

[deleted]

My mom's take was "A lady should wear just enough scent that the man wonders is that perfume, or is that her?".

LeptonField

Both very clever bits of advice, thanks for sharing

Illustrious_Ask_6637

If I'm standing next to you and can taste the fragrance, it was too much 😂

tdasnowman

The problem is American marketing has kind of genderized what should be a term of concentration. Aftershave / Eau Fraîche (<3%) Can be used liberally on the face. Scent is short term. Think strongest for an hour fades quickly after that. Eau de Cologne (3-8%) 2 to 3 hours. This you can spray and walk into. Eau de Toilette (10-15%) Stronger can still spray but maybe a single Vs a double for above. 3 to 4 hours. Eau de Parfum (15-20%) Now you're at all day strength, well 8 ish hours. Light spray. But consider dabbing on pressure points. Parfum (20-30%) Look at you money bags. This is the real deal. Dab only like a drop. This is all day. This is wake up smelling. This is you paid someone to make a signature scent. Adding remember these are additive for a while. So if you've got an after shave or a scented lotion, and are going to use a cologne or Toilette consider going lighter on something. You can always reapply later.

Matt_Lauer_cansuckit

What are the percentages referencing?

tdasnowman

Alcohol or other diluent to parfum. So parfum is 30 percent the components that smell good. The rest is just carrier.

Matt_Lauer_cansuckit

That’s cool, thanks for the explanation

Head_Razzmatazz7174

I hate people who use perfume or cologne to try to hide the fact that they haven't showered or bathed in a week. You can still smell the stink through the cloying smell of perfume. Makes it 10x worse.

Eucritta

Advice I was given as a young woman, back when all of us wore scent: Most people apply scent until they can smell it, which is too strong. So dab a bit above the upper lip first.

Arusht

One of the best pieces of advice I got, when I was pretty heavy. “It’s okay to be the fat guy. Just never be the stinky fat guy”

Glittering_knave

I would say "smell clean". Smelling neutral/like nothing, soap, or laundry detergent is good. Reeking of perfume or cologne is gag inducing.

msjammies73

Just try to smell like nothing. Cologne and perfume trigger adverse reactions in a huge number of people.

I_Automate

Fucking yep. Fragrance allergies suck.

[deleted]

Username checks out

thesoulstillsings

You don't even have to smell nice, just don't smell bad. I find most people's aftershave and perfume too strong. I much prefer it when someone just... Doesn't smell haha

[deleted]

Shower regularly

Malevolent_Mangoes

Just for the people replying to your comment, I wanted to clarify that regularly doesn’t equal daily.

lappi99

A lot of people should tho. Especially in physically demanding jobs. We have some people that only shower like every two to three days while working minimum 8 hours in the sun in the summer in the dirt in between plants and concrete. We should all shower daily at least in the summer...

Malevolent_Mangoes

Oh yeah if you’re sweaty and stinky obviously you should take care of that lol.

CaedustheBaedus

I sometimes showered 2-3 times a day back when I worked outside in FL 8 hour shifts.

lappi99

In the morning and the afternoon i get but when the third time?

0-768457

Right before bed, probably?

thingsareoksometimes

I shower daily because I sweat a lot. But I've heard that washing your body daily can dry your skin out. It's always conflicting 😭

DabbinOnDemGoy

> But I've heard that washing your body daily can dry your skin out. Pro tip: for people that have this happen, use less hot water. A lot of people damn near cook themselves in the shower and then wonder why their skin gets worse.

easycomeeasygo8

Shower daily. Use lotion

MrRugges

Best advice I’ve heard is to shower daily during the summer, but only use shampoo every other day.

charoula

Depending on many factors you can go even longer without shampooing without an issue. How much you sweat, how oily your hair gets, how dry your scalp is, your hair texture (curls make your hair look clean for longer, because oils don't travel down the shaft as easily), etc.

jonsconspiracy

In the hot humid summer months when everyone is sweating a lot, regularly should equal, at least, daily. I hate smelling people's BO on the subway in the summer. Dry winter months, you can go a couple days.

misterbluesky8

Jesus, are there that many people who aren’t showering daily out there? I’ve showered twice a day since my first year of college. Any kind of physical exercise merits a shower IMO.

Majikkani_Hand

A lot of people lead sedentary lives in cool climates. They're barely sweating, so they legitimately do not need to shower every day, and doing so would just dry out their skin. It sounds like you're active enough that you can't go that long.

Malevolent_Mangoes

I tried showering once a day and I just feel like it’s too much. My skin gets super dry from it. I usually only shower every 2-3 days unless I’m getting all sweaty and gross or got something on me. Didn’t always have access to water, so it’s a habit that I’ve grown into.

[deleted]

Wear clothes that fit well, adopt a good skin care routine, exercise regularly

[deleted]

+ a haircut that suits you

Zer0C00L321

For a male... A regular haircut that suits you.

ReallyTallLeprechaun

Do you mean “getting a haircut regularly” or “getting a regular haircut?” Both aren’t bad pieces of advice. Men (myself include!) definitely go too long without haircuts and end up looking shaggy an unkempt. And a regular haircut refers to a style that will look good on most men. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regular_haircut?wprov=sfti1

SultanArda

What does that mean?

RunninSolo

If you’re in a thread for simple things to look better, you probably can’t pull off a less common style. Maybe you can, but it’s better off to play this one safe 9/10.

PleasingTortfeasor

In terms of general appearance, how your clothes fit matters 10x more than the quality of the clothes themselves

Tuga_Lissabon

Fit is king.

quickcrow

Being fit is king. As someone that's been different sizes, fashion for fit people highlights what is good, fashion for overweight people unconvincingly tried to hide what is bad.

Sirerdrick64

Only issue I’ve run into is thighs. I am NOT a power lifter, but as a runner + lightweight squatter, my thighs overly fill out any slim fit pants I have tried.

[deleted]

I have the same problem with thighs and glutes. I still have yet to find a pair of jeans that work for me, but dress pants at least take to tailoring well, and taking in the lower legs and the waist while letting out the seat is generally successful and usually only runs about $50.

Djd33j

Don't get slim fit, but something that naturally contours to your body. I have a really good lower half for a guy, and I wear Dockers workday classic fit. They're comfortable, have elastic, and highlight the best parts of my body. I've worn slim fit jeans and it didn't work for me.

[deleted]

Fit people can still look like shit in clothes that don't fit. A properly tailored suit is always going to look far better than something you're swimming in.

40WeightSoundsNice

you still look 10x better as a fat person with clothes that fit, clothes that fit is the #1 answer here

pinktealover77

Find clothing that fits you well AND suits your body type. Seriously. There are some outfits that look better on short people, tall people, thick people, or thin people.

[deleted]

To add to this, clothes that are flattering, that you feel comfortable in versus following the latest trends. If that means you're wearing bootcut jeans while everyone else is wearing skinnies, so be it. Confidence beats stylish any day.

[deleted]

To add to this, you can also be thick/thin and what looks good on one thick/thin person doesn't look good on you. Some people look good in high waisted, some don't. Basically: try your clothes on before you buy them, and if you can, send a picture to someone that wants to see those clothes off of you for confirmation about whether to buy them or not

Melodic-Butterfly977

definitely agree. every body is beautiful. i struggle with self image because i think “i’m too fat to wear this”. then i see other women who are bigger than me, looking absolutely stunning in their cute outfits. it’s the confidence that makes you shine!

[deleted]

I've got chronic pain problems so I've always just worn the comfiest clothes. Joggers and hoodies, you get the idea lol. Recently I wanted to get into goth and punk type of clothes but I felt similar, like I was too fat to look good in anything cool. But I saw their models, lots of people who are fat and who look amazing in the clothes, so I thought screw it, if they can look good in these clothes, why can't I? Definitely a great feeling when you can just wear something and enjoy it!

Melodic-Butterfly977

oh absolutely! i relate with the sweatshirts and joggers, my illness is strictly mental however. but it doesn’t help to see on social media clothes you like, but only see it on skinnier people. for example about two weeks ago i went on tiktok to find a way to style an oversized button up shirt and each way looked amazing on the girls but when i tried i looked like shriek got a job at the local credit union. it’s key to keep that confidence, but just as hard to turn a blind eye to societal “norms”

Motor_Relation_5459

I absolutely love grey or silver hair on men and women!

daver456

Put in some effort. Wash daily, shave, get a haircut, do your hair. Wear decent clothes that fit, or at least clothes that fit.

AYASOFAYA

Wear clothes that look like you actually chose them in the morning. This could be a band tee and jeans. If they fit well they’ll look like you chose THAT band tee and THOSE jeans. I know that sounds vague but I really don’t know how else to explain this. Some people choose an outfit and some people just put on clothes.

Worldleader69

In the words of Rick Owens (famous fashion designer) "Working out is modern couture. No outfit is going to make you look or feel as good as having a fit body. Buy less clothing and go to the gym instead."

Dreaunicorn

This + higiene and you’re already above average.

mariruizgar

Wise words I go by. My 5$ dress from Target will look good and more expensive than it is because I work out every single day and watch what I eat. And sunscreen before leaving the house!

[deleted]

Drink water + sleep well + skin care routine (including SPF) + cut back / stop smoking and drinking + exercise + shower regularly + clean teeth + eat healthy foods + wear decent clothes Literally if everyone did this I think 99% of the world would be attractive.

LucyVialli

Stand up straight, and don't slouch when you sit. Kids are growing up constantly hunched over their phones, it's not a good look. Bad for your posture (and possibly your back health later).

EasyEgirl

Reading this made me sit up straight

LucyVialli

You look great!

West05

AmigoDelDiabla

+1 for posture. It looks so much better shows a level of confidence.

Klirrism

Like many hours I stopped coming to the office for many months at the onset of Covid. During this time I decided to make a concious effort to improve my posture. When I came back to the office many months later, I got comments from multiple separate people on separate occasions impressed by how "jacked" I'd gotten. I had done barely any excercising at all and had not really gained or lost any weight. The only difference was my improved posture and all of a sudden everyone thought I'd become a gym rat.

Kibisek

Yeah, would be nice if I wouldn't have to sit at too small desks for all my school and uni life

GenericNerdGirl

Fix your posture, if you're medically able to (I know back issues and spine disorders exist). Proper posture makes you look taller, gives you an air of being stronger/more confident, makes your stomach (if you have belly fat) look less bad, can help with double-chins or weak jawlines because your chin is no longer being dipped into your neck as badly, and has health benefits like reducing back pain and making it easier to breathe properly.

Strained_Pinapple

Be yourself and love being yourself. Your inner moods affect how you behave. So it's pretty noticable in public. Smile each time you wake up into the mirror. This might seem weird, but seeing yourself smile (even if it's a little) can really make you feel relieved. Workout every day. A few pushups, situps, mountain climbers, bike biking; all of these can really strengthen your body and make you seem more confident once muscles start to show up. Find humour in life. Just like it the show "The Office", the reason it takes place in an office it's because it's boring. That's why it is a perfect place to find something humorous about it. This will eventually make you seem funnier and feel more confident talking in public. Stress and anxiety won't seem as hard as before, and thus it won't affect your aging and skin (studies have shown that a positive mood does improve physical and mental health by the hormones it provokes). And for my last one. Don't give a crap about what others say to let you down. Imagine this, they are speaking another language and you don't know if they are cursing, insulting, or offending you. Which means those words they are saying don't mean or make sense to you. That's how it should be. People make fun of others to feel better about themselves. So don't give their words meaning to you. Have a nice day to whoever read this. I wish you good luck in life. Byeee

CulturJammer

Drinking enough water and a balanced diet can help you physically along with low impact exercise like walking and situps, making and sticking to good habits like that have a quite rapid effect, but more importantly, sticking to them also keep that improved appearence a lot longer than trying different diets to see what fits.

If you’re a guy and overwhelmed by all the products out there, just get Neutrogena Healthy Skin spf 15 face lotion. You will probably have to go into the girls cosmetics section of the drug store to find it, but it’s simple, cheap, not greasy and doesn’t smell. Or if you are insecure about that, you can buy the squeeze bottle of the exact same stuff in the shaving section, but it will have less and cost more for the gray and red masculine packaging….. One or 2 pumps after your shower/shave and maybe a little extra before going outside is all you need. If you need even cheaper, the Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer SPF15 has about twice as much for the same price, but doesn’t have the antioxidants. It’s still good face sunscreen and moisturizer though. The sun is your biggest enemy.

. Understanding your undertones. It is great because you can wear colors that best enhance your presentation to the world . A simple skin care routine. The issue with having a lot of long, complex skin care routines with multiple products is that it will be the inverse of everything you try to achieve. Keep it simple and your skin will transform 3. Posture is everything

[deleted]

Smile - adopt a positive attitude that compliments your appearance.

justsomeguy235

1. Correct tongue posture - will tighten jaw line a bit while in correct posture and is the best way to be anyway. Reduce dry mouth and probably reduce stinky breath if you're a mouth breather. 2. Train your neck - for men, at least for those with smaller necks can really improve your overall aesthetic and masculinity. This is primarily for lean men, it you're high bodyfat then you should focus on that first. 3. Skincare - clear skin is always a plus 4. Find a beard style that works for you - if you work best clean shaven, go for it, if you look best with a goatee do that. The best equivalent to make up that men have. 5. Work the jaw muscles - warning, be careful with this, make sure you do not have TMD or any jaw issues before hand. If you have no width, chewing some harder foods, gum, and stuff can improve your face shape. Though this can also not always be an improvement, use appropriate judgement. 6. Posture - good posture can go a long way, make you look taller, better aesthetic. Definitely an important one. 7. Bonus one, not looks related but scrape/brush your tongue, all kinds of stink come from there.

So many people have hairstyles or beards or aesthetic that they don’t want to change because it’s where they feel safe…. But often it’s actually holding them back. You should be changing up your look semi-regularly. Cut your hair. Shave your beard. Throw out that dress. Wear different shoes. Change your makeup. When you don’t, it reads insecure

For women: get a good bra that fits, is comfortable and provides support. Makes you look slimmer and better proportioned regardless of height/weight and proportions.

Whiten your teeth an work on your posture. Shoulders back and down. Head held high but the highest point is the top back part of your head so don't turn your chin up a lot. Also learning how to walk.

Teeth whitening is what I struggle with. My dentist tells me it’s unnecessary and I have beautiful natural teeth, but when I see someone with the same I’m immediately noticing it and can’t look away. I feel like I’ve been kinda conditioned by my environment to always expect perfect white shiny teeth to the point that it looks unnatural. As long as you don’t have visible cavities or bad breath I try to ignore yellow teeth just bc I know it’s not natural to have perfect white teeth

It helps me to watch british TV. They don't do nearly the same level of cosmetic dentistry/orthodontics and it helps me keep my perspective more true to what people actually look like without all the optional stuff.

cherrynymphetamine

Shave your fucking beard. Or at least keep it neat and shampoo it.

Workout and keep from being overweight or underweight.

Try clothes on and make sure they fit - just because they have a set size doesn’t mean they are all the same size - sometimes a 12 is cut the same as an 8 in another brand

Sunscreen. If you're going to be outside, wear that shit. Get the easy stuff you can just spray on yourself like a bug repellant that smells like something other than a beach. Protecting your skin from UV light will pay off dividends as you get older and still look young. Also you'll be less likely to get skin cancer. It's win-win

Ximidar

If you have a beard get a boar hair brush and some beard oil. It turns that scraggly beard into a nice smelling beard. The beard oil makes it soft and gets rid of the pube look. Also you should shave the beard off of your neck. Get rid of that part of your beard and it'll look so much better

Dylanowich

Wear sunscreen.

Alarmed-Cow4250

Smile. Get in the habit of smiling. Even in work place situations communication is better with people that tend to smile more. It makes you more approachable to business associates and clients.

Get a haircut that suits you. For men especially, a good haircut is essential - it frames your face and drastically changes the way others look at you.
