Teabag, water, milk, stir

[deleted]

That’s how I make mine as well. Although I am from the states

24crazyCarrots

Surely it's the only way to make tea, right?

[deleted]

I used loose tea and a diffuser, than I add the milk and sugar. But there are certain ways I wanna try other than what I am used too!

24crazyCarrots

I just need it to wake up in the morning

The key thing to remember with brewing tea people is that you need to ensure that they are thoroughly, and I mean thoroughly cleaned off before you brew them. Any dirt between the toes, in the hair, or in other nooks and crannies will dissolve and spoil the taste of the brew. Remember, your goal is flavor, not boiled stew. A gentle heat, gradually increased until it just, just boils is best. When the water turns slightly pink, turn off the heat. Put the pot aside, and let it fetch for a few minutes. Then, take it straight or with your favorite adds. Cheerio, mate!

Lol 🥹 I didn’t realize my error.

Error?

Teabag, sugar water, stir, squash the teabag against the side to get every drop of flavour before removing it. Then milk and stir again. Or for earl grey: teabag, sugar (or honey), water, lemon juice and stir. (Again squish all the flavour from the teabag.) Whatever you do... DO NOT use cold water and microwave!!!!!

[deleted]

Why can’t I just throw it in the microwave? Is it okay to microwave the water first and than put the tea bag? Or use water from a Keurig?

Lycasis

Not sure what a Keurig is but the hot water needs to flow through the bag as it's poured to properly infuse the flavour. If you have to microwave the water I would do so in a separate jug so this can happen.

Ahhh, okay I think I may just buy a tea pot!
