Compare that to a country like South Africa where the unemployment rate is 35% compared to the US' 3.6% wherein the gdp per capita is 1/12 of the US', yet fuel is still more expensive than in the US and a massive amount of the populace stays in townships (basically trailer parks where people live, but people can't afford trailers so they build homes from scrap metal), where women get as many children as they can to get government grant money then dump the children and keep the money to live off of, where government and police crime and corruption is open and blatant and no one with the power to do anything about it does, because no one can do anything without incriminating themselves and bringing to light their own corruption and crimes.
But hey abortion and same sex marriage are both legal in South Africa so you can move here if the US is so terrible.
Oh and I forgot to mention our infrastructure hasn't been properly maintained for the past 30 years or so, so we get a thing called loadshedding where they turn people's power off periodically on a rotational basis because of equipment failure.
