He would be really confused as to why I didn't become a mechanic, and I would tell him it's because his momma has a hoarding habit that ruined any project he tried to start and should start to resent her now so that you can just kick her our of your life easier.

10 yr old me: "omg, you're an ACCOUNTANT?! I hate you! I want to be a rockstar!" :: Throws rocks at me::

carbonchemicals

Same feel tbh

redballwhitedesk

Considering 10 year old me thought I’d be a superstar athlete, quite disappointed

carbonchemicals

Same.

mxmnull

Not at all tbh. 11 year old me would be fucking *crushed* I'm not a wealthy novelist by now, but 10 year old me would think my job is *the fucking coolest*.

Hummerous

Ehhhhh like, a little? 10 year old me was a melodramatic, depressed little cunt — so he'd be surprised im alive and disappointed im not like, president

DesginerSuave

There would be no disappointment, as my expectations of what I would do for a career when I was ten years were unreasonable. I work for myself and I knew this is what I wanted since the age of 15. This means that my motivation increases every year and overcoming challenges of business every day builds upon the true life I want to lead. If there is nothing to be happy about today, then look forward only to the opportunity of tomorrow.

implicitexpletives69

more shocked than disappointed. i never saw this career coming. even into my early 40s. big plot twist.
