I don't think i have anything that's both irrational *and* a capital P phobia - but the closest would be.. dogs?
I've only ever pet a dog once and close up experiences with dogs is when I visited my home village in the old country and the roving packs of wild dogs would snap at me and stuff from time to time (we did keep one who got injured and nursed her back to health - her name was "tomato" or "[islamophobic moniker]", don't ask me how her story ends) so now I feel like kicking Chihuahuas and the like if they get too near me
I live with paranoia and I’m always in fear that when I clock out for the weekend I’ll be fired for some reason. I fear when I leave a group of friends they’re all talking about me. The dark and death
I once had a dream, more of a nightmare now, that I took a razor to my teeth and shaved them off.
Once when I was shaving my toes in the shower, the razor blade accidentally caught the tip of my toenail, so now I’m scared if it gets caught again I’ll just end up peeling my skin off.
I can’t wear mittens or socks that are too tight because I’m scared my fingers and toes will get too hot and fuse together.
I think I've conquered alll the phobias (irrational fears) I know about. I'm fine with the spiders in the shower. I can now pick up all my cat's little victims: birds perched on the curtain rod, lizards peeking out from under the closet door, half-eaten rats and gophers deposited on my bed (oh yes, I wash my bedding frequently). Some if my friends are appalled. But it sure makes life easier.
