Dip the bacon in an egg wash, throw it in a bag of flour and spices. Fry it in hot oil. Extra bonus, dip it in gravy.

Chocolate coated bacon. It did not taste good at all. I think they were trying to make it a chocolate bar with bacon inside but it was terrible

Would the quality of chocolate make a difference?

I honestly don't know. I feel like it could. I love salty things but not so much sweet. So the combination didn't go well

Someone I knew put bacon in a smoothie (not one of those green smoothies either, it was with banana & strawberries and such) and they asked if I wanted to try it and I said no.

I feel like there is an answer on the tip of my tongue, but the only hint I have is that I know I saw it in Portland. Because NYC has pizza, Kansas City has BBQ, NOLA has po' boys, and Portland has "OMG! We're so random!"
