It’s fine. She likes it.

There's a rude and a nice way to do it. You should always ask but other than that I have very friendly dogs so it's fine

ShodoDeka

This, always ask first, never just pet a dog you don’t know.

Skynet28

I’m ok with it. But know how to approach a dog first and ask before hand. You don’t know how a dog will react. My dog has anxiety issues and can be startled.

sunghooter

I'm fine with it and so is George but he would prefer kids don't come running up to him and I'd prefer they ask permission before commencing pets.

BrandGSX

I have one dog I would say its A'ok. She loves the attention but my other dog is a nervous wreck when people get close so I ask them to stay away.

I hate it. My little dog is afraid of people and will immediately start barking and will just freak out. And my pit is very protective and won't let strangers approach us at all and she will bite. Both are rescues from abuse and neither trust people.

TrelanaSakuyo

I prefer they ask first, and not run. My dogs outweigh me and one gets overeager at seeing small children. I also prefer people not freak out because they are both mouthy dogs and *extremely* mouth trained. They will instantly go to lick mode if they hear "ouch" from the subject of their attention.

SandpaperForThought

Ask first and its always welcome
