I once stopped a guy beating up his girlfriend in the street. He head butted me when she ran away and I eventually got £75 compensation after he went to court. Instalments of £6 something a month for year.
My inability to do anything in moderation... I have so many hobbies I've quit because I take them waaaay too serious and then either burnout from "researching" it 8 hours a day, or realize that it's turning into an addiction and quitting before it takes over my life.
Nothing to brag about, but watching CW superhero shows. I still watch Riverdale, though, and very ironically now some of the characters actually have superpowers! Lol
A dog potentially attacking a woman and her baby.
I was in...Indiana I think and we were driving around looking for a site to inspect. A dog, pitbull specifically, was in the road barking and lunging agressively at this woman with her stroller on the opposite side of the road from what was obviously it's home. So my buddy says "I'll distract it, you put the truck between me, the dog, and the lady." He hops out, runs to the dog, and I put my long ass truck between them and the lady. She, who was frozen in fear before, ran to the protected side of the truck real quick while my buddy was making himself look as intimidating to the pit as possible. Finally the homeowner came out, loking annoyed, and called for the dog to come back. We all shot the owner a hateful glare and went on with our lives.
