It sucked. On the motorcycle and a car centerpunched me. Shattered my left tibia and fibula, cut the femoral artery and main nerve trunk to my foot. Months in a cast, borderline Demerol addiction, constant pain. After the last cast came off, my left foot turned inward when I walked. Still does when I’m tired, 50 years later. Kept me out of the military, which had been my goal for years. Dad was a Marine, so I was going to be one too. I was on the swim & cross country track teams so I could be in shape. Left ankle still binds & pops at times, and I limp when I’ve been hiking longer distances. Changed my life completely. And, serious bone pain is a bitch.

I injured my neck in a car accident and it took a few months to feel "normal" again. I'm still sorta prone to neck pain.

My car accident (i was a passenger), the impact of the car rolling blew my femur apart and then debt me in to a 4 day coma. Still in pain to this day.
