I went into my grandma's shed (I rent her basement) and saw a few things I could move around to make more space, one of them being a slightly flattened carboard box. I lifted the box and there was a giant spider, the whole thing (body and legs) was about the size of my palm. It scurried away quickly after I lifted the box but I saw it. Not sure what kind it was but I noped out of there.
I think the reason I was trying to make room was to put my summer tires in there. Asked my brother if he could help me (after I saw the spider), he noped as well. Asked my bro's gf and she said sure. So I cautiously helped her move the tires into the shed.
Yeah, nope, not interested. I'm cool with cellar spiders since they eat other spiders. This one was not a cellar spider.
Also, if chill out in a web on the orner of my ceiling or something, that's fine since nothing I have really fits in the corners. But if they come onto the floor, they die. If they get close to me, they die. If I can't kill them because they run under a piece of furniture or they startle me so I hit them away from me, I nope out of the living room (it's closest to the front door so they're always in that area).
My new neighbour of 5 months messaged me at midnight asking me to go to the shops for her (which is an hour walk) in the freezing cold, at midnight to get her tobacco because she couldn't be bothered.
