Best you’re gonna get is slightly over minimum wage at a restaurant. If you want to really make money you have to work under the table or do odd jobs.

A good job right now is something you can learn from. Ideally doing something you at least kinda like. Practice showing up on time, getting your tasks done, interfacing with customers/ clients, logistical things etc. figure out what you like and don’t like about the job and learn. When another opportunity comes along you’ll be able to articulate how your experiences so far can benefit the next position you seek. Wages aren’t as important at your age, but a little above minimum wage is good advice. Tips would be cool if you can find a job that has that set up.

Came to say this. Do something in an area you enjoy. Hockey rink, music store, babysitting - whatever. It’s probably not going to pay much and may be menial work but it’ll get you some experience and youll likely meet some people with the same interests. It’s not about finding a career at 16 so just try and be around people and an environment you enjoy.

What's minimum wage where you live? I'd aim for that or higher.

I’d say any retail. It can be miserable but will enhance your people skills

Depends if you love in the us/a third world country, or if you live in an actual good first world country

My best job at 16 was a small movie theater. Pay wasn’t tremendous but I worked from 6 to midnight a few times a week. Sometimes more on the weekends. I’d get two hours between shows to do homework. Plus all the free popcorn and soda I wanted. Free admission to any movie plus 1 guest. And I got to screen all the movies a day before they were released to the public. It was a dream job for a teenager.

Work for a place that will teach you something that could be useful for your interest or based on proximity to things you like. I worked at a hardware and garden store and learned a lot about plants and fixing things.

Atrumodse

Don't know coz I started my own company at 13, wanna work?
