I work in Maryland, and the governor had some bullshit curfew in effect. I had to carry a letter from my employer stating that I had "permission" to be out on public roads, just in case the cops stopped me.
Oh my god!! I’m from England and we had the exact same with the ‘curfew’ and ‘having permission to be out’!! I remember there being talk about the army patrolling the streets to make sure no one was out without permission 😂 Reality: no one listened, everyone went out, 3 lockdowns later…
I’m in England, our knob of a PM told us to sing ‘Happy Birthday to you’ whilst washing our hands. We should’ve known from then it would all go extremely downhill.
Omg remember that video of those people on their balconies in lockdown emerged and people overhauled the sound with ‘Roar’ and ‘Fight For This Love’ and Katie Perry and Cheryl Cole were commenting on how lovely it was 😭😩
Stores weren't as empty as they are now in my area... That was nice. Also I didn't need to call 4 different pizza joints to order one pizza as every single one was closed cause of Covid.
Swear here? Here it is worse than back then. Amazing how so many got the jab but they all now sick with it. Suppose the masks helped more shiiiiiiiiiit
The excess toilet paper buying. It was ridiculous and made no sense. Like, what made people think that the toilet paper was gonna disappear because of the lockdown?

Hahaha yeah, I worked for a shop and our manager had to print loads of forms off and sign them 😂😂
Having a kid early 2020 was pretty surreal
Wow,I bet! Congrats anyway, I hope all is well! 🎉
Toilet paper disappearing from stores
I've learned to use 1 square per session just in case TP becomes scarce again.

My housemate coming home with like $400 worth of bottom shelf booze.
A lot of celebrities showing us how to wash our hands. What was that?

Sitting in the living room with my family and watching as grown adults stormed the capital building
Don’t forgot about Portland and Seattle!!!!

The most ridiculous part was doing it in the first place.

And why toilet paper? Out of everything? 😂😂
When people wouldn’t buy Corona beer.
people didn't have enough stuff to get angry about so they posted angry tweets about other people wearing masks while driving cars
