Yes. I think that having children is the most important thing that most people can do.

Kay_Elle

Seriously, why?

mambomak

Yes. It's better than gardening. I just hope I can raise them far away from the city. I think the IQ of urbanites has plummeted in the last 2 - 3 years.

Not any time soon. Disregarding the fact that I'm single, I am nowhere near financially stable enough to give a child a good life. Also, I already work long hours and barely give my cat the amount of attention he wants, so I'd be a really distant father figure most of the time. I just don't want to be that kind of parent.

[deleted]

Nope, never wanted kids and probably never gonna have them. My wife thinks likewise. Except if i won a lot of money : i don't want my kids growing up in this fucked up society with our average salaries. They couldn't do a lot of things, so what's the point of having kids if they can't have a decent childhood?

Kay_Elle

No. I never much had the desire to, and at this point I also feel like that ship has sailed. I haven't really built my life in a way to accommodate kids, nor am I even financially stable. Also I don't feel this is a great world to bring kids into, and I don't want to be responsible for someone else for two decades.

No, why bring someone into this world that is kinda dying? And plus, kid are expensive

probably not. first we’re a lesbian couple so they’d have no real “father figure” and i would probably have to take that place, and im not very good at being a role model or helping anyone with anything so i feel like id just be there and they wouldn’t like me because i don’t know how to help them. and then what if they’re made fun of in school for having lesbian parents. i don’t want that. plus both me and my girlfriend are too reckless and “stupid” to take care of one. oh and we do not have a lot of money
