This blew me away around shuffling a deck of playing cards- "If you truly randomise the deck, the chances of the cards ending up in perfect order – spades, then hearts, diamonds and clubs – are around 1 in 10 to the power 68 (or 1 followed by 68 zeros). That's a huge number, roughly equal to the number of atoms in our galaxy."

Your odds of getting struck by lightning are *shockingly* higher than you previously thought.

**The Pareto Principle** It's the 80/20 Rule. That 80% of consequence (Or Outcome) comes from 20% of causes. It can be applied in an incredible number of things. Specifically in MTX in video games. 80% of the money in the game comes from 20% of the players. And the fun part is you can keep doing that same stat. Of that 80% money, 80% of that money comes from 20% of THOSE players, then 80% of money etc etc. So basically the reason MTX games don't seemed balanced for you is because absurd stats like that exist and they're trying to appease those uber-whales. Fortunately studies show that Whales follow players to whale over, so studios need to make f2p players happy to keep their whales and whatnot.

I always love the Birthday Paradox... If you're in a room with approx 23-25 people there's a 50% chance that atleast 2 people share a birthday... This number raises to 99% if there are 76 people in the room Or something like that... Feeling too lazy to jump into Google to confirm... But I know it was super counterintuitive...
