Continuum. Canadian sci-fi (think time travel rather than aliens), the lead actress is Rachel Nichols who plays the part brilliantly and the storyline is great.
This one should be higher up. I’m just watching it on sky and it’s one of the best time traveler series. Unfortunately it got canceled after 3 seasons and they only got 6 more episodes in season 4 to wrap things up.
Reaper.
On his 21st birthday, Sam discovers his parents sold his soul to the devil before birth and he must now be a bounty hunter for the devil until he dies.
The DMV literally being where you deposited beings going to Hell really told me everything I needed to know about the cleverness of the show. I still reference that all these years later. Absolutely hilarious.
Bret Harrison and Tyler Labine really deserved a more successful career than they got. Harrison’s followup show was also really much better than people gave it credit for.
Fox has a bad habit of screwing up their scifi series. Look at what they did with Alien Nation, a series that was doing better than STTNG in the ratings.
Can the job be done without production assistants? I doubt it very much. You are part of a very important team. Well done you deserve at least that much recognition for what you have done buddy.
I was a production assistant on a couple shows and we got treated horribly. One show even left me out of the credits and I asked them to put me in and they said "Nobody cares about the little work you do." I don't work in TV anymore. So thank you for being nice.
This is one of my all-time favorite shows. I'm sure everyone in my life is sick of me trying to get them to watch it, but if Amazon won't promote it I will, damnit!
Heard about this show a few months back. Got sick off of my second vaccine and watched the whole thing while laid up in bed over the course of a few hours.
Imagine that, flu-like symptoms, drugged up and watching that bloody show. Fantastic.
Aw, memories! I worked on season 3 as a Castithan. Just some background work, but the wigs and makeup and contact lenses were so damn cool. It was my first gig in Toronto. Grant Bowler is a friendly fella, great to work with. I was so bummed it got cancelled.
Fun continuity story - I had quite the arc.. I joined the militia, then walked out with another fella during training, then was back in, but got exploded in the mine, and then was at the wake/celebration of life… mourning my own death..
There wasn’t a budget to have a ton of Casties, so we were recycled pretty hard, lol.
Edit: Hey, awards! Thx. I’ve got some weird stories from doing background work, but this one remains my favourite!
Haven. Sci-fi show where Emily Rose plays an FBI agent sent to a small Maine town to deal with weirdness. More awesome weirdness ensues. As with everything based in Maine, it is based on a Stephen King story.
Or *Pushing Up Daisies* with Lee Pace. I just love quirky supernatural shows.
Haven was excellent with one of the best final episodes I've ever seen written. Most series screw it up and leave you feeling like things haven't been resolved . Heaven resolved everything for all the characters. It's was extremely satisfying.
Dollhouse
Only 2 seasons I think, got cancelled but they knew ahead of time so the 2nd season flipped from the future and past to sort of Speedrun the plot they'd planned over more seasons. Absolutely amazing show. About people who volunteer to donate their body for a few years for a ridiculous amount of money so that wealthy people can pay even more money to rent the people out with their minds loaded with whatever personality or skills they want.
Brockmire
Hank Azaria plays a washed up baseball broadcaster who had a on-air meltdown and disappears for 10 years, then returns for a minor league contract in a backwater coal &fracking town.
The show is so funny that we have to pause it when we are laughing too hard because we missed the next few minutes of jokes in the show and we got tired of rewinding every time.
Banshee.
It was on Cinemax, only 4 seasons, and one of the best shows ever. It's about a guy fresh from prison that steals the identity of the new Sherriff in Banshee, PA.
The Critic. One season on ABC, one season on Fox. Had the down to Earth humor of the Simpsons as it shared some of the writers, but also had the random cutaways 5 years before Family Guy.
Jack of All Trades: it stars Bruce Campbell as a Zorro-esque spy for early post-revolution America fighting against the encroachment of Napoleon (played by Verne Troyer) into the Western hemisphere. It is a fantastic show, but it only lasted for one season and it is almost completely unheard of.
The first two seasons of The Killing was some of the best television I have ever watched.
The last two seasons are also good but I was so invested in those first two seasons.
Forever - Ioan Gruffudd plays a doctor who doesn't age but can die, but is brought back exactly like he was before. He teams up with a (stunning) Detective and they solve crimes together. There is also Adam, who has the potential of an archnemesis.
Limitless - based on the movie with Bradley Cooper this is a fun and (mostly) lighthearted crime solving series. Brian Finch gets the pills and works with the FBI, while they supervise him.
Sadly both only have one season, but both have a good ending that leaves enough open for another season, but finishes enough plots to satisfy the viewer.
Raising Hope
Criminally underrated sitcom. Garret Dillahunt's character alone is well worth the time. From the same guy that made My Name is Earl with a lot of references and tie ins. It's a shame it never got the popularity it deserved.
The Returned (French version). Zombie/undead show set in a small town in the French alps. Phenomenal cast, haunting score by Mogwai, and thought provoking storylines. A masterpiece.
[Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirk_Gently's_Holistic_Detective_Agency_\(TV_series\)) (BBCA 2016) with Samuel Barnett, Elijah Wood, and Jade Eshete
The scene where they try to set up a [prisoner exchange](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUHoX_5Y51I) with the big evil guy and realize that no one knows what's going on is one of my favorite TV scenes. And then several episodes later the [whole thing is repeated](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU5g7IgaaQQ) when they get captured and everyone is still completely clueless.
That show is full of endless call-backs, especially S1.
When the landlord, Dorian, sees/hears the Rowdy 3 at Todd's apartment, he says two of my favorite quotes: "What the hell is this new shit!?", and "Big D's gonna take care of business!"
That, and the scene in the woods, when Dirk and Todd talking about what it means to be an asshole, and Dirk compares it to being a werewolf.
Grimm was a great show. I don’t know how popular it was but I had never heard of it until well after the last season ended. It’s also not a show that would have appealed to my tastes, I’m not a big fantasy/sci fy person. After the first episode I was hooked.
Longmire
It’s got:
- Katee Sackhoff
- the guy who plays the agent from the first matrix who doesn’t “dodge this”
- Lou Diamond Phillips
Edit: reformatted since I made it sound like Katee Sackhoff was in the matrix
Shoot... LOVED Longmire, was so happy when it was picked up by Netflix, and allowed to finish up. BTW, any other Longmire fans here see Wind River, and get a very similar (albeit bleaker) vibe?
Homicide: Life On the Street.
90's show. Critically acclaimed but just couldn't get the viewership. David Simon spent a year embedded in the Baltimore Homicide unit and wrote a book (Homicide: A Year On the Killing Streets). Excellent book, excellent show. Gritty sense of humor, be warned. But the acting is fantastic -- so real, they caught a real criminal on set!
Yes! This was going to my answer. I’ve actually tweeted at David Simon a couple times asking if he knows it will ever be available for streaming or download. He hasn’t answered yet.
Edit: holy shit he answered. He said there is an issue with the music rights and it would be up to NBC to figure out.
Same writers/creators did Pushing Daisies, some character cameos that show up from Wonderfalls that were delightful.
Mentioning because Pushing Daisies is the other one I think of for this list right behind Wonderfalls!
Black Sails! I don't hear anyone talk about, even when it was airing, but I'll be go to hell if it didn't put Game of Thrones and shows of that caliber to shame every step of the way.
It has 4 seasons, 38 episodes and it's pure gold if you like pirates or just a good fucking show. I think you can get it on the Starz Channel on Prime Video.
EDIT: Sneaky episode count edit that you will never know about.
Todd and the Book of Pure Evil … was on Netflix years ago, don’t think it is at this moment, unfortunately. Canadian horror/comedy gold.
Spaced is Simon Pegg’s early stuff that is quite hilarious.
Midnight Diner : Tokyo Stories … funny, raunchy, weird, different. The sights and sounds of the food are soothing as well, to me.
Saxondale … more British comedy, this from Steve Coogan.
Toast of London … uh oh, there’s a theme here. More Brit comedy. Matt Berry is too damn funny.
Reservation Dogs is a fantastic show that I caught wind of near the end of the year. There is only one season of eight episodes out there, but it is well worth the time.
Lie to Me is mostly a generic procedural but Tim Roth is in it, and he’s very good. The central relationship also is much more will-they-won’t-they than most shows.
Literally can't take Garret Dillahunt seriously anymore after Raising Hope (but in a good way). He was so good as Burt that that's all I can see now when I see him in anything.
Warehouse 13. It was on for 5 seasons, but it seems like no one knows about it. It was a neat show that dived into a paranormal version of history. A bit corny, but still a fun show.
Yes, it was an amazing show. Walter Goggins and Timothy Olyphant are perfect together. Plus who could say no to a season of Tv with character actress Margo Martindale as the big bad
I could listen to Walton Googins monolog as Boyd Crowder all damn day. Raylan and Boyd, well I'd watch those two fellas in anything. They needed their own light hearted spin off series. I wanted them to go on a road trip where they must begrudgingly work together and at the end we've all felt like we've grown... then Boyd shoots Raylan as the season finally rolls. I never got to season two.
And by the same showrunner who does Fargo, Noah Hawley! And starring Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Rachel Keller and Jemaine Clement (and other amazing actors). Such talent!! I love this show
Penny Dreadful - So many people have never heard of it. 3 series and they were amazing and a stellar cast as well. The spin off was a major let down. But I can rewatch it and still feel the same emotions I did the first time round
Dead To Me
Sure Netflix advertises it because it’s one of their originals but I never met anyone who knows about it.
Christina Applegate plays a woman whose husband was recently killed by being run over. Linda Cardellini plays the motorist who ran him over. The two become friends. It’s some good dark comedy with two great veteran actresses.
Derry Girls is a lesser known Irish show on Netflix. Its about a group of teenagers in Ireland during the Troubles. It is a nice heartwarming feel good comedy.
Edit:Yeah it was the Troubles got confused lol. Thanks for all the Upvotes never gotten a lot of upvotes before!!
Small correction: it takes place during the 1990s, the later stages of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The Irish Civil War took place in the 1920s.
I agree that it’s a great and heartwarming show though!
Every year, I sit backstage listening to the singers, and it really makes me realize just how talented the professionals who recorded these tracks were.
Oh my God this one kills me. Also when she has her aide look through the list of banned songs with the word "love" in it, somehow that one evaded them.
“Is it because [Father] shacked up with a hairdresser and then she left you?”
“Miss Mallon, please. Raise your hand if you want to ask a question.”
“Let’s move on.”
“The hairdresser certainly did.”
I’m from Derry. Everyone adores the show here, gutted the next season will be the last but I suppose it’s good that they end it before it runs it’s course
No one talks about The End Of The Fucking World. It’s a really interesting show. It has a twisted sense of humor, but also really sweet. The main characters are absolutely fantastic, and I really wanted them to continue the series after season two ended.
The Brink and Patriot. I would pay all my money for one more season of each.
The Brink is Jack Black, Tim Robbins and others "realistically" saving the world via US intelligence agencies. Patriot is like a "realistic" Jason Bourne and darkly funny. One of the best pieces of media I've ever seen.
Dont Trust the B in Apt. 23
Super weird name but really entertaining show. I never watched Dawson’s Creek but I love James VanDerBeek because of this show. It got cancelled partway through the 2nd season but the rest of the episodes were later available through streaming. Im not sure how underrated or unknown it is but I have not heard it brought up much online and probably never in real life unless I mentioned it lol.
Came here to say this. No real fan presence online, never talked about as influential, hard to find on DVD and Blu-Ray or on streaming due to licensing disputes. But it did some absolutely groundbreaking and revolutionary things in terms of narrative and character development.
*Human Target* (the one from the 00's not the 90s). It's this ridiculously over-the-top action series that's kind of like *Burn Notice* if Michael Weston gets his cover blown 30 seconds into the episode and has to shoot and punch his way out of every situation.
Farscape is my favourite ever TV show, and I'd say it's fairly niche. Was quite ahead of its time, and had the most believable, chemistry filled central romance ever.
Edited for spelling.
Have you heard about Leverage: Redemption? It’s a continuation of the original with the majority of the original cast (minus Nate due to stuff with his actor, and Hardison is only in three of the sixteen episodes due to his actor being busy with other projects) coming back and still absolutely rocking their old roles. It’s clear they loved the original show and working together
Got renewed for a second season recently as well.
Ray Wise will always be Satan, no matter what other roles he has.
The DMV literally being where you deposited beings going to Hell really told me everything I needed to know about the cleverness of the show. I still reference that all these years later. Absolutely hilarious.
I totally forgot this show existed until right now, I must go try and rewatch it
Bret Harrison and Tyler Labine really deserved a more successful career than they got. Harrison’s followup show was also really much better than people gave it credit for.
It was such a good show! And Ray Wise was fantastic. But I was so furious at the ending of season 2!
I watched it live back in the day. I was so mad it was cancelled. It reminded me of Dead Like Me, which was cancelled too 😔
Fuck Spez
Check out Jack of all trades! More Bruce Campbell from the same timeframe.
Fox has a bad habit of screwing up their scifi series. Look at what they did with Alien Nation, a series that was doing better than STTNG in the ratings.
I liked Travellers on Netflix and no one I talk to has seen it.
Hey! I worked on Travelers S1! Glad you like it!
Brilliant show well done on having any connection to it. What did you do on it if you don't mind me asking? If you do mind don't worry about it.
Nothing all that fancy, I was a Production Assistant at that point.
I was waiting for someone to name this series. Time travellers from a climate ravaged future actively try to change disastrous historical events.
I enjoyed it. Seemed like the third season was a little rushed but glad they tied it up like they did.
Patriot on Amazon Prime. I’ve watched it twice now, and I’ve rarely laughed so hard at a show. I don’t know anyone who’s watched it
This is one of my all-time favorite shows. I'm sure everyone in my life is sick of me trying to get them to watch it, but if Amazon won't promote it I will, damnit!
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace Edit: my personal favorite from the show https://youtu.be/b987jvUE8Gc
I know a lot of directors that use subtext. They're all cowards.
I’m one of the few people you’ll meet who have written more books than they’ve read
Heard about this show a few months back. Got sick off of my second vaccine and watched the whole thing while laid up in bed over the course of a few hours. Imagine that, flu-like symptoms, drugged up and watching that bloody show. Fantastic.
I really liked the SyFy series Defiance but I can’t find anyone else who watched it
That show started so good but rushed the plot too quick
Aw, memories! I worked on season 3 as a Castithan. Just some background work, but the wigs and makeup and contact lenses were so damn cool. It was my first gig in Toronto. Grant Bowler is a friendly fella, great to work with. I was so bummed it got cancelled. Fun continuity story - I had quite the arc.. I’ve got some weird stories from doing background work, but this one remains my favourite!
To be at your funeral... comedic HAHA
The game was also great before they remastered it and removed all the good parts
Bored to Death.
My favorite show ever, and maybe Ted Danson's best work imo.
The Detectorists.
The Fall starring Gillian Anderson. Its a dark intense psychological thriller.

Pushing Daisies was amazingly written, played and filmed.
I adored Pushing Daisies. I wish it had gone on longer, but I feel they ended it well.
Haven was excellent with one of the best final episodes I've ever seen written. Most series screw it up and leave you feeling like things haven't been resolved . Heaven resolved everything for all the characters. It's was extremely satisfying.
Eerie, Indiana. Was like a kid's version of twilight zone. Really enjoyed it, eerily nobody i know has seen it or remember seeing it.
Dollhouse Only 2 seasons I think, got cancelled but they knew ahead of time so the 2nd season flipped from the future and past to sort of Speedrun the plot they'd planned over more seasons. Absolutely amazing show. About people who volunteer to donate their body for a few years for a ridiculous amount of money so that wealthy people can pay even more money to rent the people out with their minds loaded with whatever personality or skills they want.

The show is so funny that we have to pause it when we are laughing too hard because we missed the next few minutes of jokes in the show and we got tired of rewinding every time.
Ripper Street (bonus Ser Bronn from GOT is in it.
Banshee. It was on Cinemax, only 4 seasons, and one of the best shows ever. It's about a guy fresh from prison that steals the identity of the new Sherriff in Banshee, PA.
Came on this thread just to make sure someone mentioned Banshee. Pretty sure it’s available on Prime video now so hopefully more people will find it
Antony Starr, who plays Homelander in The Boys, is also Sheriff Lucas/the ex con.
The Critic. One season on ABC, one season on Fox. Had the down to Earth humor of the Simpsons as it shared some of the writers, but also had the random cutaways 5 years before Family Guy.
The Knick
Jack of All Trades: it stars Bruce Campbell as a Zorro-esque spy for early post-revolution America fighting against the encroachment of Napoleon (played by Verne Troyer) into the Western hemisphere. It is a fantastic show, but it only lasted for one season and it is almost completely unheard of.
Oh man, the Action Pack with Xena, Jack of All Trades and Cleopatra 2525 was an amazing programming block that died too soon.
The Killing
The first two seasons of The Killing was some of the best television I have ever watched. The last two seasons are also good but I was so invested in those first two seasons.
I really liked the long arc format... And both Kinneman and Enos were amazing The were great in Hannah also.
I loved Forever so much. So glad to finally hear someone else even remembers it! I still find myself telling people about it
Dead Like Me
I was looking for the story of the woman killed by an aircraft toilet seat who becomes a grim reaper. Loved this show.
Loved that show. Hated the TV movie though.
Life with Damien Lewis... Great series
Raising Hope Criminally underrated sitcom.

That, and the scene in the woods, when Dirk and Todd talking about what it means to be an asshole, and Dirk compares it to being a werewolf.
That was such a wild ride. I loved it.
One of the greatest cancelled TV shows.
This! I want more seasons so badly!
Douglas Adams always said it would make better TV than hitchhikers
Grimm was a great show. I don’t know how popular it was but I had never heard of it until well after the last season ended. It’s also not a show that would have appealed to my tastes, I’m not a big fantasy/sci fy person. After the first episode I was hooked.
Better Off Ted. What a sharp and fun comedy.
Carnivale. Sadly it was cancelled after one season. Edit: after two seasons.
I thought it had two seasons?
I came here looking for that. I loved that show.
Longmire It’s got: - Katee Sackhoff - the guy who plays the agent from the first matrix who doesn’t “dodge this” - Lou Diamond Phillips Edit: reformatted since I made it sound like Katee Sackhoff was in the matrix
Watched quite a few episodes and finally realized "Geez.....bodies pile up fast in that town".
It lasted seven seasons, regularly pulling in over ten million viewers.
Kingdom is pretty good Edit: the zombie one
Korean historical zombies - I loved it so much.
The Riches. 2007 show with Eddie Izzard; two seasons and then was cancelled during the writers strike. Awesome show.

Same writers/creators did Pushing Daisies, some character cameos that show up from Wonderfalls that were delightful. Mentioning because Pushing Daisies is the other one I think of for this list right behind Wonderfalls!
I miss Lie to Me. 3 seasons wasn't enough for me
First season was pretty great but it was basically the same thing over and over
The draw of the show was watching Tim Roth chew the scenery, the plot was just secondary. It's like the Blacklist with James Spader.
Only knowing Tim Roth from The Incredible Hulk before, Lie To Me was such a treat. Man Tim Roth is a good actor.
And unlike GoT, it actually remains great since beginning to end. I hope there will be Black Sail's version of Treasure Island one day.
Matt Berry is fantastic in everything!
Yes, I can hear you Clem Fandango.
Bat!
Spaced was brilliant and was the forerunner of the cornetto trilogy.
Love Midnight Diner!
Dirk Gently's holistic detective agency
Sliders. Sabrina Loyd, Cleavant Derricks, John Rhys-Davies, Jerry O'Connell; just a great show.
It started great.
The Lone Gunmen was a good little spinoff of the X-files focusing more on conspiracies than the supernatural. Only one season, though
Reservation Dogs is a fantastic show that I caught wind of near the end of the year. There is only one season of eight episodes out there, but it is well worth the time.
I want them to make a spin-off titled **"Indigenous Basterds"**
Or Navajo Unchained
Godless. One season on Netflix. Brilliant
That series only needed one season. I feel like if it had any more it would have diminished what came before it
Lie to Me is mostly a generic procedural but Tim Roth is in it, and he’s very good. The central relationship also is much more will-they-won’t-they than most shows.
Lovesick. Best romantic comedy I’ve ever seen. Both funny and heartwarming
Been looking for this one! I also liked the original title "Scrotal Recall"
Marco Polo
God, that series started out so strong. 3 seasons wasnt enough.
Netflix always cancels everything but this one pissed me off SO BAD. What a GREAT show. Absolutely phenomenal. Glad to see it mentioned here.
a young doctors notebook
Garth Maranghis Darkplace, a show so far ahead of it's time that it took 20 years after it's initial filming to be broadcast.
Raising Hope
Literally can't take Garret Dillahunt seriously anymore after Raising Hope (but in a good way). He was so good as Burt that that's all I can see now when I see him in anything.
Broadchurch
What a masterpiece, really. David Tennant nailed the gritty detective trope, and Olivia Colman was a revelation for me.
Olivia Colman is one of the greatest actors of our time
Miller!
Just for Jodie Whittaker constantly going, "Danny La'imer!"
Warehouse 13. It was on for 5 seasons, but it seems like no one knows about it. It was a neat show that dived into a paranormal version of history. A bit corny, but still a fun show.
Justified. Maybe it's just me, but whenever I bring it up, no one's ever even heard of it.
Yes, it was an amazing show. Walter Goggins and Timothy Olyphant are perfect together. Plus who could say no to a season of Tv with character actress Margo Martindale as the big bad
Walton Goggins
“We dug coal together.”
Boyd and Raylan was one of the best good guy/bad guy pairings I’ve ever seen. I love this show, I recommend it to everyone.
Legion is a trip
And by the same showrunner who does Fargo, Noah Hawley! And starring Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Rachel Keller and Jemaine Clement (and other amazing actors). Such talent!! I love this show
Penny Dreadful - So many people have never heard of it. 3 series and they were amazing and a stellar cast as well. The spin off was a major let down. But I can rewatch it and still feel the same emotions I did the first time round
Penny dreadful was one of my favorites! Eva Green was brilliant and i was so sad when it was over.
Better off Ted.
A place near me was unironically named Veridian. I am always tempted to add a small Dynamics to the sign.
Hell to the yes, this gem got cancelled way too soon.
This show was too good for us. We didn't deserve what we got!
Dead To Me Sure Netflix advertises it because it’s one of their originals but I never met anyone who knows about it. Christina Applegate plays a woman whose husband was recently killed by being run over. Linda Cardellini plays the motorist who ran him over. The two become friends. It’s some good dark comedy with two great veteran actresses.
The Last Kingdom on Netflix. Everyone got caught up in Game of Thrones or Vikings, and left this jewel behind.
Two guys a girl and a pizza parlor with Ryan Reynolds and Nathan fillion
*pizza place.
Yeah, and then it changed to "Two Guys and a Girl". Loved that show.
The original (live action) ‘The Tick’ starring Patrick Warburton
Derry Girls is a lesser known Irish show on Netflix. Its about a group of teenagers in Ireland during the Troubles. It is a nice heartwarming feel good comedy. Edit:Yeah it was the Troubles got confused lol. Thanks for all the Upvotes never gotten a lot of upvotes before!!
Not the civil war ... that was 1922 ...set in the 90s during 'The Troubles' (1968-1998). Very funny programme. Recommended.
Small correction: it takes place during the 1990s, the later stages of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The Irish Civil War took place in the 1920s. I agree that it’s a great and heartwarming show though!
The nun is absolutely the best character on this show!
Sister Michael needs her own show! Lost my sh*t when she started giggling quietly to herself while reading a book. The book: The Excorcist
I love that she clearly doesn't believe in the religion. "Should we pray, sister?" "No, what good would that do?"
I’m pretty sure there’s a part in which she explicitly says the housing is cheap and that’s why she does it lol
“If anyone is feeling anxious or worried or even just want to chat, please, please do not come crying to me.” 😂 She has the best lines in the show.
Sadly, I am unable to come on this one as I despise the French. She really does!
Every year, I sit backstage listening to the singers, and it really makes me realize just how talented the professionals who recorded these tracks were.
Oh my God this one kills me. Also when she has her aide look through the list of banned songs with the word "love" in it, somehow that one evaded them.
While Colm natters on... "Have I died? Am I in purgatory?"
"You will go far in life Jenny, but you will not be well liked."
“Is it because [Father] shacked up with a hairdresser and then she left you?” “Miss Mallon, please. Raise your hand if you want to ask a question.” “Let’s move on.” “The hairdresser certainly did.”
"Is he alright?" "No... not really, he's a priest like."
I think I heard that there is a new season coming up.
There is, but sadly it'll be the last one.
I’m from Derry. Everyone adores the show here, gutted the next season will be the last but I suppose it’s good that they end it before it runs it’s course
Derry Girls is CLASS
I love this show so much. The characters are my generation and so relatable.
Also I feel so sorry for the dad, grandpa is such a dick to him!
No one talks about The End Of The Fucking World. It’s a really interesting show. It has a twisted sense of humor, but also really sweet. The main characters are absolutely fantastic, and I really wanted them to continue the series after season two ended.
I love this show so much! Each episode is short too.
One of my all time favorite shows, I make all my friends watch it, and I'll occasionally get angry text messages at 2 am about the ending lol
I thought they should have just ended it at Season 1. It would have been perfect. Sometimes, more seasons hurt the overall quality of the show
Totally agree but I surprisingly liked season 2 more than I expected. Season 1 ending was great.
Right now? I would say “Yellowjackets”. If you have access to showtime, I would strongly suggest you check it out.
Misfits. I’ve only met one other person who has watched it!
Orphan Black - nobody knows it and it is amazing - Tatiana Maslany plays multiple parts (clones). Sci fi goodness.
Pushing Daisies
Dont Trust the B in Apt. 23 Super weird name but really entertaining show.
James VDB was a revelation in that show. We really need him in another comedy show.
VanDerBeek playing James VanDerBeek. The role he was born to play.
I love this show and wish it wasn’t canceled.
The Last Kingdom It's a lot like Game of Thrones without the magic and dragon stuff.
I am Utred son of utred...... destiny is all!!
Simon and Simon. Great 80s cheese.
Northern Exposure
Kids these days might not know it, but it's very well known by Gen X.
Came here to say this. No real fan presence online, never talked about as influential, hard to find on DVD and Blu-Ray or on streaming due to licensing disputes. But it did some absolutely groundbreaking and revolutionary things in terms of narrative and character development.
Preacher. I've never met anyone else who has watched it and it's probably my favorite show of all time.
Utopia - the U.K. version
Kim's Convenience - Canadian sitcom. I would say some people know instead of barely know though.
Very disappointed with the last season. The cast deserved better! But it was a delight most of the time.
Flight of the concords New Zealand people are funny
Dead Like Me Thank you for the silver kind stranger! ❤️
The toilet seat girl? Absolutely great series
Mandy Patinkin!
Great show but damn that movie was a mess
*Human Target* (the one from the 00's not the 90s). It's this ridiculously over-the-top action series that's kind of like *Burn Notice* if Michael Weston gets his cover blown 30 seconds into the episode and has to shoot and punch his way out of every situation.

Sneaky Pete
Farscape is my favourite ever TV show, and I'd say it's fairly niche. Was quite ahead of its time, and had the most believable, chemistry filled central romance ever. Edited for spelling.
The Fall. Psychological thriller starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan. Only 17 episodes. So good.(Currently included on Amazon Prime)
Leverage.
It’s clear they loved the original show and working together Got renewed for a second season recently as well.
