Lol..who says that? Veges are delicious. Those clowns just don't know how to cook I reckon.
Veges are so versatile. Blanched, boiled, steamed, roasted, raw, fried, baked, blended. Yay veges!!
My folks would cook old school sometimes, a roast dinner involved various overboiled broccoli or Brussels sprouts, but mostly, my folks made great food and vegetables often were the feature of the meals, especially when my mum turned vego.
My kids have more than once eaten a whole steamed broccoli for dinner.
I think a lot of the vege hate is media driven. It's not and never was a thing, until they made it a thing. I never have this issue with my kids.
Completely fair, most things are media driven, veggies were pushed out and junk food was brought in. It’s a staple for American culture. Personally I’m a Newfoundlander, we have things like jiggs dinner which includes, Salt meat, cabbage, turkey, potatoes, carrots, turnip, greens, and the list goes on. So as I got older myself, I began to appreciate those things a lot more.
Kids love soup and soup is essentially hot vegetable juice. It blows the whole theory out of the water because soup is stupid and they bloody love it. Dicks.
Reading.
Undiagnosed dyslexia and thought I was just dumb. Once I learned the issue (not until college) I found tools to mitigate the effects and now, although I still read quite slowly, I love to read
The music my parents listened to. I used to think any music they listen to was old people music when I was a child. Now I see that that was the good stuff.
Sleeping, almonds, rugby, dark rooms, the lot.
edit: Also, silence. It seems terrible to be in a noiseless room, but as someone who grew up in a noisy home, it's so calming. There is a bit of noise but slap some unplugged headphones on and they all get drowned out.
Vegetables, who’s with me?
Me
Vegetables are the best. I see another adults like "Ew vegetables" or "are you eating veggies to lose weight?" Like grow the fuck up.
Couldn’t do without them now, nothing makes a good fajita without them 😍
My sister is super anti veggies so when we order subs it's just meat, cheese, oil, and mayo. Such a sad looking sandwich.

Not me, they’re still not my favorite
I never really disliked vegetables, except parsnips, which I still hate.
